Does anybody now some good tactics on how to block? I get rushed down very easy.

Just remembered that Rain is out today.
Whereas I spent the entire week being hyped for Kenshi's release at the time. Go figure.
Gonna work out some Scorp/Kenshi tag kombos between me and my bro today though, should be good stuff.

R2 on PS3, Right Trigger on 360.
I thought this was clearly outlined in the tutorial.

Rain seems kind of broken. I am not very good at Mortal Kombat at all and it feels like I can get 8/9 hit combos in each match.
Broken may not be the right word, maybe just 'easy'.
Rain is a motherfucking beast.
Right now I'd describe Rain as...difficult, few useful combos, that one Water Ball move makes no fucking sense, I keep accidentally teleporting. I probably just need to take him into practice more.
Yeah I teleport all the fucking time when trying to string together lightning or geyser kick combos.
And of course Europe gets fucked. Pays twice the price and gets it later than everybody else.

I could teach you some things with Rain if you like.
Rain is pretty neat. I hate how he has, like, a veil instead of a legitimate ninja mask though. That bugs the shit out of me. It wouldn't be so bad if there was an alternate, but, there isn't, and there probably never will be.
But yeah, I like his moves. I also like how he evidently roundhouse kicks people around the world, since they come in from the opposite side of the screen you kicked them out of.

Maybe. Ed Boon said that there wouldn't be a klassic skin for Skarlet, even though she appeared as a red Kitana way back in like MK2 or 3 I think.

He could just casually make combos out of ping-ponging you around the earth like the world's squishiest satellite.
I'm fairly pleased by this version of Rain so far; He has quite a few ways to capitalize on missed enemy attacks no matter where he is, including even his X-ray. Not quite so sure if I like where he's going storywise, though,[sp]with him coming right out the gate as an arrogant douchebag, instead of originally joining the dark side just to survive and slowly gaining ego as he learns more and more about his crazy-awesome ancestry.[/sp]

Doesn't mean they will. I really don't think they are going to do much, if anything after the next character release. From what Ed has said, they don't have anything else planned.

I agree. He was able to be sympathized with in the early games, just because he was a misguided opportunist. In this game, he's just kind of an asshole.
I am already good with rain :buddy: his combos are really fucking awesome.
