Ho-ly shit Freddy Krueger while Freddy's welcome in my book I personally wanted the 4th guy to be MK related.
Men, I am archiving every single decent combo I make, into a TXT doc. Once I am happy to say it's done for now I will release every single combo I had made for you guys to enjoy.
Now remember the combos may not be SUPERTEHLARGEANDDAMAGING but they're the ones I made for my self and I like them the way I had made them. But here is a tech demo for jade.

I am trying to make them better and or different from them, if anyone has trouble with any of the combos just tell me and I will show you in a quick match.

Oh my god, this is amazing.
I remember a few things vividly from my childhood. One of these things was watching my parents play Ultimate Mortal Kombat on the Sega Genisis and trying to get the hang of it as a tyke. Reptile (THE NON-LIZARD VERSION) and Rain were my two favorites. The second was watching the Freddy Kruger movies and not being scared, but thinking Freddy was a pretty bad ass guy.
Ed Boon is bringing me my childhood, one DLC at a time.
Many of the MK fans are disappointed/butthurt about Freddy because they all wanted an MK game free from any other universes; a true Mortal Kombat game. You can't laugh at them just because they wanted a pure Mortal Kombat game.
With that said, I welcome Freddy but am still disappointed that the 4th DLC wasn't from the MK Universe.
As soon as the PS3 had an exclusive character that was from a different game series, you could tell that this wasn't gonna be pure-blooded Mortal Kombat. At least character-wise.

I thought Kratos and Freddy were non-canon anyway? Just dont play those characters, I dont get the huge amount of rage. Anybody care to explain?
Also; the MK forums are going apeshit, "boycotting" the DLC haha.
I don't see why they're so mad. Ed Boon said there would be more DLC after these four characters. In fact, all he said that they wouldn't be able to do was story updates/new chapters, because their story team is drafting ideas for the next game. That pretty much confirms that the rest of the team is free right now.

Neat, but MK10 is unlikely.
I am disappointed that it's not an MK character, but I'm not disappointed in the inclusion of Freddy Krueger. I think it's gonna be great.
Although, unmasked Sub-Zero does make up for the lack of an MK character a bit. Any news on the other skin?

How so? I think this one sold well enough to warrant a sequel.
Besides, the series has franchised. Maybe the sequel won't be soon, but I won't imagine it'll just go away. It's still recognizable IP to a lot of people.

They left a pretty big hook at the end of MK9 to transition into MK10. It's not about having things to explain, it's having a continuation of the story. Even if it's a fighting game and there is little character depth, the story (hopefully) won't just be a continued retelling of the series and things might actually change a little further.

MK10 story would be Shinnok's all out invasion on all of the realms atleast that's what was the ending suggested and happened on the original timeline.
Wouldnt that mean that Baraka,Sheeva,Noob etc wouldnt be playable anymore?Hell pretty much everybody died in the Story, even the "bad" guys.

Maybe with Shinnok opening portals everywhere, this would include the Netherrealm, so that the dead can get back into Earthrealm?
I don't know alot about the MK universe though, so this is probably impossible.

Freddy wasnt what I was expecting, I dont like the idea of guest characters but oh well I wont bitch, the 4th mystery character was just a bonus for me as I already enjoy the other 3, no one is making me play as him.

I stayed at TRMK for awhile and whenever Kratos was mentioned they were always talking about that Kratos didn't fit and shit, can't wait to see the butthurt at Freddy's announcement.

Yeah he just got beaten up, no one ever dies in Mortal Kombat anyway, [sp]theyll be back, all of them well except maybe Shao Kahn (for a while) and Noob Saibot had his soul ripped apart by the soulnado (Scorpion only survived it in deadly alliance because the elder gods saved him)[/sp]

The only people who died were [sp]All of the good guys (Except for Raiden, Sonya, and Johnny Cage. The rest will probably be brought back during the story) and Noob, Sindel, Shang Tsung, and Shao Khan from the bad guys. The good guys were enslaved by Quan Chi, and considering Ermac in Deception freed most of the main cast from enslavement with his powers, I'd say having him turn good and then doing that isn't out of the question[/sp]
