I have very good doubts there'll be an exclusive character. Microsoft doesn't have any characters that fit MK.
It always felt like Scorpion and Sub-Zero were the main characters of the game to me.
But then again, I never really cared that much about the story.

Ed Boon said that Scorpion and Sub-zero are like Ryu And Ken, they're not the main characters of all the MK games but they're on every game.

They are the face of MK, no doubt about.
It's confirmed there is no Gears of War character for xbox, but that there MAY be some sort of exclusive content. With less than a month till release it's very doubtful it'll be much though. The game itself has been done for a month now. It's just been tweaks and such lately.

The original Sub-Zero was as himself only in the first game. After that he was killed and became Noob Saibot and returned to MK to get revenge. His brother, was Sub-Zero right from the second part and you can notice the difference as he has a mark on his eye (as I remember it's from the Kung Lao's hat).
