ya okay
I am impressed by PerfectLegend, but I could probably beat him with Sub-Zero or almost any character for that matter. Considering he seemed to have no variation between combos, so really he was kinda bad he just got lucky.
ahahahaha oh my god you are just adorable

You know what, youre too good for this thread you should just leave and go to tournaments and shit.

And I don't think my combos are the best, there are other people who've made combos that make mine look like a simple bread and butter combo, so i'm having a hard time figuring out how i'm being a dick.
I can't believe this. You are so funny!
What?, you'd think the same thing if you watched the videos. I've met people much better then him as well.
your obsession with combos above everything else is kind of weird
Hey PvtVain, have you ever heard of having fun? Its what normal people want to do while playing MK instead of just combos and bragging. You should try it sometimes. On-topic: Have you guys noticed that if you bounce nightwolf's arrow back and forth enough it becomes invisible? Try it with a friend. Just both pick nightwolf and use the deflect attack to bounce around an arrow. First the arrow becomes invisible, then the green trail becomes invisible and then a bit later the arrow just disappears.
your obsession with combos above everything else is kind of weird
like, this game has so much more than just mindlessly memorising button sequences and hammering them out in matches. do you even have any concept of matchup knowledge, zoning, spacing, pokes, yomi, oki, wakeup strategies, anti-airing or what?
your obsession with combos above everything else is kind of weird
Yeah, but doing the same combo makes you look like fag. So honestly I am getting the impression no one spends more then 30 minutes in practice mode, which is what I do, so I stay refreshed everyday as I seem to be better then most I fight against. Not saying I win all of the time but all I fight is spamming bitches and it gets annoying when you get defeated by a spammer and they think they're the best in the game, so you get my point most likely.
Hey PvtVain, have you ever heard of having fun? Its what normal people want to do while playing MK instead of just combos and bragging.
So honestly I am getting the impression no one spends more then 30 minutes in practice mode
Usually people spend that time playing with their friends.

[editline]1st August 2011[/editline] I'm saying kratos because he can also deflect if I'm right.

Most pros are spending their time actually playing other people in person, running long sets of games so they can develop new strategies and learning how to counter tactics (like the spamming you constantly cry about)
You can actually reflect some x-rays too iirc, it owns
When you reflect an x-ray, what happens? It does the damage on the ennemy or you do your x-ray?
You can actually reflect some x-rays too iirc, it owns
Like which? I'm guessing ones like Kitana's and Kenshi's?

So actually, it does help more then playing online.
Actually time in practice mode means a whole fuckton, like practicing combos, developing combos, learning combos.
Thats alot like saying "Reading books about war is much more helpful when learning to fight than being in a war"
Not even close actually. :downs:
Not even close actually. :downs:
How is it any different? Yeah, sure, when you practice (or read a book) you learn about tactics, combos, etc. But there are so many variables in an actual match that practicing isn't really that useful.
Do we need Postal again?
Do we need Postal again?
Why we're just having a pleasant talk about something that is completely related to the thread.
I see your point there, but even so it's really hard to learn something when the other player can't do shit other then use one special constantly, It may just be me but I happen to run into them alot of the time.
Exactly. The "spammers" are a very good example of the variables that I am talking about. When you practice against an AI, the AI is usually fair and they never really spam, which means that you can't practice against spammers in practice mode.
Good point, but I mean I don't care about my record I atleast just want to keep a good one, so people don't think I suck at the game.
Fair enough. I myself never really play online. I don't know why, but I never bothered to.
Fair enough. I myself never really play online. I don't know why, but I never bothered to.
It's alot of fun, but you'll mostly see spammers and people who think they're the best in the world.
when you get good you will realise that spammers are actually the best thing to fight, because you can beat it so easily they won't have an answer. the reason they're spamming is because it works against you because you never bother to learn how to beat it :I

Is there anyway to make the bots x-ray you in practice mode? Because I would like to try it with every character possible! [editline]1st August 2011[/editline] And, could anybody tell me any Ermac tactics? I don't know alot about him, but I just love telekinetic powers in any games. What I try to do when I start a match is to EX slam them(getting a super bar because I got first hit) and then EX push them. Anybody got other tactics?
