This is the first time I've ever clicked on the "unlock the full game" button right away in a demo. The narration alone was enough to make me buy it.
Is that narratator not the same one as in Fallout?
No. Quote and answered this again because Logan Cunningham deserves a great deal of credit for his voice-work. Talk about out of fucking nowhere.
I only have played a hour of this game, but its sooo good. Love the narration the most along with the artstyle.
Fuck that Fang Repeater challenge, I always miss first prize by ~5 targets.
Fuck that Fang Repeater challenge, I always miss first prize by ~5 targets.
Having the repeater fully upgraded (with homing ammo) makes that challenge significantly easier. You may have to take a fall at the end to pump out the rounds though, but it won't count against you.
yeah that challenge is really fucking hard to beat without homing ammo
Awesome game!
yeah that challenge is really fucking hard to beat without homing ammo
Hold shift + mouse 1 and roll everytime you reload or need to walk to the next part. did it with 2 upgrades (extra ammo and I can't remember the second)
Great, for some reason my save is gone.
Completed the game, including New Game +. Superb game, and I'd say it's a bit like an RPG-Braid, if you look at the story and art style. 13,99 well spent, even though I only bought it 24 hours ago.
Fuck that Fang Repeater challenge, I always miss first prize by ~5 targets.
Drink that spirit that gives you 100% crits while below 33% health, and just walk off the edge a few times before you grab the gun. You'll end up killing the targets in one shot. I didn't even need any upgrades with that trick.
You can do that with most of the challenges and you'll clear them. Werewhiskey.
I can't get past Point Lemaign, can anybody help me?
I can't get past Point Lemaign, can anybody help me?
Go through the item challenges and "Who knows where", get fragments, upgrade and be awesome.
Go through the item challenges and "Who knows where", get fragments, upgrade and be awesome.
thank you, sir
probably my favourite indie game ever. was incredibly polished with a fantastic story, beautiful art, and amazing music. the end song left me with chills.
[sp]I chose to save Zulf and stay in the new world with the gang. I did so because I thought it seemed the obvious choice now. Nothing is generally wrong with this world, and nobody is doomed to die or fail. Why reset what life has given to you?[/sp]
Just beat the game. [sp] I left Zulf's body where it was, and continued on with the battering ram. Zulf fucked us over once, I wasn't ready to let it happen again. When the time came to make my choice, I restarted the world. I mean, that's what we came here to do, right? Plus, I figure that Zulf will be fine if the world restarts, so that's fine with me [/sp]
best moment in the game was probably when you [sp]carried zulf on your back while everyone was shooting at you and the song started playing, then everyone stopped shooting and just let you leave the place[/sp]

After all, this is a new world, and as such we should have moved on from the old world. We are all equal in this new life we have been forced into[/sp]
A friend distracted me right when [sp]Zolf ran away[/sp] and now I have no idea why or what happened. Can i rewatch the cutscene somehow or if not, could someone just give me a quick summary of what happened?

so what is the calamity? either i suck at paying attention or it isn't fully explained in the game
so what is the calamity? either i suck at paying attention or it isn't fully explained in the game
[sp]It was a contingency created in order to avoid another war with the Ura. Instead of fighting another huge war, they would just activate it and it would wipe the Ura out. Venn is the one who created the calamity machine for the caelondians, he's an Ura. The Caelondians pushed him too far and he just threw the switch[/sp]
