I'm pretty sure they sold the rights for the Fallout series to Bethesda. Nothing stopping them from making a fallout-esque game though (except overzealous lawyers).

I'm still hoping for a Bethesda/Obsidian joint project. Let Obsidian handle the story and let Bethesda handle the gameplay and the wasteland. Let the respective companies do what they're good at.

I don't hate Bethesda, I was just telling ForcedDj that Bethesda did the testing, so he was right in saying that it was a different company that tested NV.

I really doubt that's true though. I've never experienced a single serious bug in Fallout 3 whereas I encountered two gamebreaking bugs from New Vegas after I got it only about 6 months ago as well as some fairly insignificant ones. Luckily the Nexus had fixes for them all.

Bethesda will be making Fallout 4, not Obsidian. At most Obsidian will be allowed to make another spin-off or something.
