Is it required that you delete Eastern Tales? I didn't see a mention of that but mine crashes on "adapting history" whenever I pick a country, both in separate locations as well
It isn't required, but I deleted my Eastern Tales just for the heck of it. EDIT: It does crash at times when adapting history, which I think is caused by me scrolling through history too much using that date thing in the country selection menu. It would be best if you selected a specific date you want to play on and just start it. EDIT #2: I also reported the issue at this thread on their forums: http://air.000space.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=218#218
ATTENTION EASTERN TALES USERS! If you have Divine Wind, you can get AirotciV, a sequel to the mod. It uses Divine Wind 5.0 and the Victoria II map, with a time-frame of 5 - 2010. It also adds the Black Plague and the Distance Mod, and includes many minor changes to Divine Wind. Yes.

Hungary as emperor of the HRE? It's more likely than you think. Unfortunately, my easily excitable king got a little too ecstatic and died a few months later - Burgundy then got the throne. But I did take the opportunity to add all my un-Imperial Provinces into it, though :v:
Oh jeeze, playing with event codes is fun. I did one for Portugal begins colonizing in 110 CE and it created Portgual in South America, this can't be good for history. Then I accidentally created the Papal State and they ended up getting Rome, from Rome, then called for a crusade against Rome. What have I done

The Time Lords are going to feel this one. [editline]7th March 2011[/editline] Side note, is there a list of event numbers?
Austria, Bohemia and Hungary always get Emperor no matter what. So far I haven't seen any other country get backed besides Bohemia right now, who is currently Emperor.

Its more fun typing random things in though, gave Ojibwa 300k Manpower. :v:

Theres nothing better than giving some tiny country the power to take over the world.

I also managed to get emperor once as France, and again as Burgundy. Milan also seems to get it quite frequently.
I got a couple of quick questions about the mod: 1) If I start in 5 A.D., will more modern nations eventually be formed by the A.I. over time? 2) What nation do you recommend I play my first time? Also, hot damn. You never truly appreciate the size of the Roman Empire at its peak until you see it in EU3. [editline]6th March 2011[/editline] oh and why hasn't this mod been posted on the official EU3 forums
Yeah, I've seen some nations form, Japan was recently formed in my game, and the Franks took over most of France last time. And the first time I played Eastern Tales I played as the ancient Teutons, that wasn't so bad. [editline]6th March 2011[/editline] Oh and Manchu China, the Han Dynasty, and the Ming Dynasty are currently fighting over China. This isn't historically accurate what so ever, but it shows that revolution happens, and that nations do form over time.

If anyone has the same issue I edited "/airotciV/console_history" by removing the "olonist" line (which has no reason for making a difference as it worked when I put it back in anyway), played as one of the vanilla states from DW (Clan Toki) and just continuously tried playing by trying new games with different states [editline]6th March 2011[/editline] Also interesting naming bug: starting in 1707 Great Britain is referred to as "British Europe" and starting in 1871 part of French Africa is instead "French France"
HELP!!!! My shitty luck has hit me again! That Victora spelt backwards mod ( one that starts from 5 AD to 2010 AD put up not long ago) fucked up my map! Poland in Ireland at 5 AD? England in China? Portugal in Canada? Spain in Russia? Russia in England? It fucked up the spawn points please dear god help me... Also why is Europe united as European Union in modern times?
Europe is supposed to become the European Union in the modern times, what did you do anyways to cause all those major fuck-ups?
I installed it into the main EU3 folder.
I installed it into the main EU3 folder.
No, no no! It's supposed to be installed separately, which also means it doesn't go into the EU3 folder because it's completely standalone. Instead, install AirotciV into a place like Games/AirotciV which is the default designation, or just install it into Desktop/AirotciV, like I did.

Or can i still fix it by installing it into Games/airotciV.
So... am fucked? Or can i still fix it by installing it into Games/airotciV.
Well you basically screwed up the EU3 folder, as it overwrites everything. Just re-install AirotciV and this time make it install into the default directory which is given in the installer (Games/AirotciV I do believe)

This mod is great so far. To anyone who is a nub like me Yamato ( purple part of japan) is a fun choice! On 15 AD right now and those other guys are almost dead! ( Damn them and myself for only having transport ships as our navy we fought and got our ships stuck fighting. Due to the fight the ships are far to early to fight... :frown:) I have a feeling history might fuck up bad though.... for me..
Dang, the Byzantine's finally got wiped out by late 1460s'. Damn Ottoman bastards. :arghfist::saddowns:
Dang, the Byzantine's finally got wiped out by late 1460s'. Damn Ottoman bastards. :arghfist::saddowns:
Think of it less as being wiped out, and more of a mercy killing. The Byzantine Empire was a pathetic shadow of it's former self after the Fourth Crusade.
Also my trade tech went haywire, it won't advance in tech or anything and appears blank and it says -466/4924. Did my recent colonizations in Brazil mess it up or something?
Think of it less as being wiped out, and more of a mercy killing.
I argee... Its just sad how they fell.. I normally hate romans but i felt back for them near the end.. All they wanted was a better world. :saddowns:
Erhhh, kind of. They sort of declared war on a lot of people who didn't deserve it, treated any outsiders like shit, and all kept it under the guise of order and cooperation. That said, they were fairly civilized, and provided a better standard of living (...sometimes) for the people it cared for (which were relatively few)
