Thanks, I only thought of new improved gameplay mechanics and optimization. I don't need new factions and nations right now. I have still enough with the complete Edition.

I bought the chronicles when it was on sale for £5 on steam so I have all the new features, I have to say I much prefer it to HoI 3 except for the combat but everything else is amazing

Are the other expansions any good?[/QUOTE] You should at least get Heir To The Throne, Divine Wind is optional in my opinion largely due to the Asian and horde features being poor and lots of bugs. I went back to HTTT after trying Divine Wind though so I'm probably not up to date with beta patches though.

Muscovy 4 life. Just annexed most of Novgorod, and already have the vast majority of what was once Lithuania (it rebelled into Poltosk, Zaoprozhia, and Ukraine, and I annexed all of them), all of Kazan, and parts of the Golden Horde. Where should I go next? Finishing the Golden Horde is not an option: they are allied with the Ottomans. I also took a port town from Hungary. Sweden also is not an option as they are my faithful allies. I'm thinking about picking a fight with Poland and Lithuania, but I'm not sure I have cassus belii for either. I should be able to beat them though; with ~40,000 active troops, I have 50,000 more fit to serve. I'm also not hard pressed for cash, so raising whole armies of mercs will not be a problem.

Just formed spain, they're surprisingly REALLY fucking poor despite me owning the entire west coast of south america, mexico and the entire caribbean

When I resign and load my game repeatedly it makes the game stutter every time a day passes so now I have a save where it takes 2 seconds for a day to pass on full speed because i've been reloading the saves a bit, restarting the game doesn't fix it. I'm on chronicles on steam, is there a way to fix it?

Does saving/loading take forever as well?

1702, Muscovy's in Finland, France hasn't conquered Brittany and has released Normandy, but has taken most of the Spanish Mediterranian. Austria's in Asia Minor, whilst Lithuania has been pushed a few hundred miles east by Germany, who now owns most of Eastern Europe. The Ottomans have broken up, though Byzantium still exist in Macedonia. Castille has destroyed Portugal but not Aragon, and Britannia's got her fingers in just about everything. This is much too historical, you haven't been playing right :v:

Also I didn't get the achievement to form Germany as the teutonic order because I formed Prussia first and didn't realize that would prevent the achievement :(

When is the patch coming out? There is a bug where if you resign and load games it slows the game down and if you keep doing it the game becomes unplayable. There is a workaround where if you want to reload a game you use alt+f4 to close the game and then start the game and load, but it's really tedious.

The beta patch is already out that fixes that, get it off the forums in the technical support thing. Works on the steam version too.

In my games Castille has at that point conquered north Africa, half of France, Ireland, Italy and sometimes even has a province in coastal Norway.

Learned the hard way after blitzing across the Ottoman Empire to not bite off more then you can chew, rebellions are popping up every week apparently, and although I can manage them a war right now would be disastrous.
