Pretty much exactly what was in the video. Not sure about lava invulnerability, but water kills them pretty fast, and you need to actually have the crosshairs on one for it to count as "looking at it", not just have it in your field of vision.
The video's pretty accurate otherwise though, and well made too (the accent is amazing)

The cross-hair thing is potentially wrong, yes, but they are immune to lava and die in water.

At 3:18, you imply that keeping Endermen in your line of sight stops them where they are. This is not the case. Once you move the cursor directly over an Enderman, he's after you, and looking directly at him again only stops him from teleporting (according to one of Notch's Twitter posts).
