Just had a 3 hour binge on Dungeon Defenders
Well, That was great fun. Even got MVP in my first round with a bunch of level 15's
Damn, I tought it was going to be a sale recap, should I pick off red orchesta while I can, or hope it up for the xmas sale? I missed RO:HoS by half an hour :(

This is why I never ever buy games on opening day unless I'm really really psyched for it. (Portal 2, inc DoTA 2) DI already $20 on one of these sale days, hasn't even been two months. Would have picked it up for me and my friends but Steam had too many sales, emptied my wallet on ME + ME2 on the first day, and I don't even have my TF2 items thanks to a bunch of other sales.

Last night bought E.Y.E, EVE and Dungeon Defenders.

I think I've learned a few lessons from this Steam sale myself.
Spending shitloads of money is depressing to me. If you're a cheap ass like me you should:
- not buy expensive games the moment they get released unless they're really good. With expensive games you're always worrying about if you're getting your money's worth.
- not buy several copies of a game for your friends just so their cheap asses can play multiplayer with you, especially when they beg and cry for it.
- buy really cheap games because it feels good and you get the best bang for the buck. If later you don't like them, you won't have any regrets.
- put your older games into consideration. Is the new game you're about to get too similar to an older game you own? Try enjoying your older games first. You didn't buy them for nothing.
