Metal Gear Solid HD Collection DATE ANNOUNCED - Games

Are there any region unlockers for the PS3? Waiting until February is just bullshit.

Not really a 'collection' if it doesn't even include all of the MGSs.

What version of MGS2 does this have? I really hope it's substance with it's VR training and snake tales, that game was so damn good. Also when is it actually released in the UK? It isn't out is it? Game.co.uk says the 3rd of February. What kind of sick joke is this?

In the launch trailer you can see that mission where the giant GRU is flapping about in the water.

HD? What HD? And, why the flying fuck in all Konami's glory, DIDN'T THEY PORT TWIN SNAKES!!! And, the original PS1 game is only given on the Japanese version!?

Twin Snakes was a pretty shitty game when it came right down to it. HD just means higher resolution these days, be thankful they actually worked on things like foliage, shadows and extra shader effects.

Naomi Hunter is fucking middle eastern. She's not meant to speak like some British librarian. There were a number of other small things that got fixed. DO you REALLY think that the final battle in MGS4 mirrors the fight from Twin Snakes by coincidence? (i mean the cutscene.)

Everything they did story-wise was a ret-con to support the story that was going to be expanded upon in the coming games. It's worth noting they ret-con just about every chance they get. I mean they suddenly decide Frank Yaeger was cybernetically enhanced TWICE, Miller happens to be the most inconsistent character ever and Metal Gear 1&2 are both so loosely canon it's not even worth them being mentioned.

First i need to beat MGS1 on the ps3 then i will buy the HD and MGS4. I shall own every goddman one of those games. Even PO and the AC!DS

They kinda did take MGS1+2s plot and turned them on their head. [sp]"remember you taking out them terrorists? Yeah well... Peace Walker is like Conviction but with all the shit that made "coolest game in the series" awesome. In this case it's from Snake Eater. I don't know why, but Big Boss just kinda strolled in and stole the show. But i guess that's due to spies being glorified back in that era. It's hinted that Solid Snake is very legendary within military ranks. well... It's strongly hinted that Big Boss is the granddad of all that is awesome to all the kids in the country after Snake Eater. Kind of like how 4chan adores Chuck Norris while the rest of the world is in awe of Clint Eastwood.

Does the PS3 version come with an unlock code for MGS1 or is that just our Japanese amigos? In-fact, Japanese one of my courses would it be worth/advisable for me just to nab a Japanese PS3 for future releases and get them cheap/early. I'm not a weeaboo it was just down as one of the subjects I could take in my program :v:

You might want to learn Japanese though.
