I've never had a problem with finding a decent server, but I also work during the day. Probably the hardest time to find a game.

the australian pure server is great, I got 50 ping on it.
Just finished a very long match, 9v9 - the admin had to end it because of the stalemate at marine start.

For the people who are on the fence bout getting this game I would say play ns1 since its a free mod for half-life and if you like it you will like 2.

I've been messing around with the editor a lot, and I've decided that I am going to make a complete level.
Have an old screenshot of the alien start. (Click it.)

So far, I have around 60% of the map layout complete, and when I finish, I am going to try a playtest with some people while it is still raw, so I can fix any corridors that seem to big or small or wide or short. Then when that is done, I'll be able to make the other rooms look like that screenshot (which is still old mind you, I did some more work on it and it looks much better than that.)

I'm thinking about trying to map some, but whenever I map for anything (even Starcraft lol) the maps become really unbalanced or too small/big

It still needs plenty of work until 1.0, but I love playing it. Been playing it since the engine test.
Pre-ordering helps development, so if you do that it may come out sooner or at better quality.
Also been trying my hand at mapping for it. Never made a map before but it's really easy to put scenes together with the editor.

If you ask me, I think Blink is pretty balanced and the adrenaline consumption is pretty easy to manage if you use it in moderation.
In my experience, Fades are able to get out of any sticky situation if they do not waste all their adrenaline with blinking.
Also, the devs cannot buff up the Fade just because of occasional turret spam. If they did that, the class would become way too unbalanced.
