It's true of most games, though. I mean, look at the Men of War series. The unit calls sound fine to anyone that doesn't speak Russian, but if you can? It sounds like a train wreck.
Which is funny because all the voice acting was done by Russians.

Derp.
Yes, a soldier with a gun in hand protecting a child from Best Korea soldiers must be a pedo.
What a witty statement.
Holy shit that gameplay was fucking retarded to watch. Why would you get a game early to post a walkthorough of it and suck that bad? No.. Just no.
On another note, holy shit, I want this game. I've had it preordered for like 3 months now for the 360 since my computer sucks.
I think they were also on the easiest difficulty. Bump up the difficulty a few notches and it should be at least 7 hours.
Goddammit really.
Well, at least it will be somewhere around 9 hours if you include Metro 2033.

I sure hope I didn't spend another fifty freaking dollars for nothing.

Egde Magazine also gave Dragon Age II a 6/10 so.....you pretty much see where I'm getting at.

That's because DA2 is shit, as noted here.
It means that Edge magazine aren't paid reviewers, and I do agree that Homefront is just another MW2, which is undesirable.
Why noone ever atacks russia?

How does it look like mw2 other than the fact that you have guns and there is modern technology
[editline]6:33[/editline]
oh and they also gave dragon age origins a 5/10, which is generally accepted as better than DA2

Uh, /v/ raid, last I heard.
Another review is in from the Gentleman's mag Zoo. Another 9/10

I literally laughed out loud.
I wasn't going to post in this thread again, but this is just God-awful.
you think by now, game developers would actually create some difficult/smart ai
nope

Making AI "Smart" is harder than is sounds. That's why most AI use the "if I see you, I will shoot you" function. Taking cover and throwing grenades seem to be random when performed with AI. Most of the time, the harder the difficulty, the more grenades are thrown, the more damage bullets deal. No AI is really "smart".
On another note, does anyone know if the sniper shots and regular guns are affected by gravity like if BF?
Of course. The protagonist of a military-based shooter can NEVER be just some regular person. No, it has to be a soldier or ex-soldier! I thought this game was meant to be based around the hardships citizens fight, not how many Koreans Sgt. Killass can ventilate.

It's because of the fact that he is an ex-pilot that he is wanted for the rebels. Normal citizens have a harder time being successful during an occupation when compared to military, so it only makes sense that ex military and the few remnants of the scattered military get together to fight together.

Technically, he's just a former helicopter pilot. :downs:

"In Homefront we wanted to avoid a “shooting gallery” in which the player simply went from one combat encounter to the next, mowing through waves of bad guys."
"We talked at length about breaking up “massacre fatigue,” a term we coined for the never-ending parade of enemies to kill. In all first-person shooters you’re going to be shooting (it’s kind of the point), but in Homefront we wanted to give the act of firing a weapon a greater emotional meaning. By interspersing our combat with slower-paced areas, we hoped to make each individual battle more important and meaningful."
