I feel your pain. My internet crapped out twice. Once at 97%, then again at 98%. Took download attempt number 3 to get the full game. Each time took about 12-13 hours.

I've got 0.1 hours of homefront played! Arggh! Theres already some full servers, must be some other countries though because the pings are high.
Also, for the campaign there is 4 difficulties:
Easy, Normal, Hard, Geurilla.
I'll probably play hard tommorow.

also you can change FOV in menu! a hint at these devs kind of knowing what they're doing on pc...

How many weapons are in this game total? I know there's like 3 MG's, 1 SMG, 5 Assault Rifles and 2 Sniper Rifles... Is that seriously it? So few choices

I'll rather have fewer choices with clearly defined capabilities rather than loads of guns that do the same damage or they're all different but there is usually a gun that everyone uses.

Is it really any better than having an M4 or FAMAS and tons of other ARs that are essentially the same in-game?

Well, Yes... Some look better to the eye, some models are held in slightly different positions and obstruct less... Some just look and feel right and you'll just naturally perform better with them over a weapon that's statistically better because it isn't pointing in some odd direction or some shit
not only that there's atleast 47 Ranks to progress through, surely there's more than just 7 unlocks to aim for?
Some of the attachments have very low requirements... 100 kills is the most and you unlock them all for that weapon... It just seems like the Life of this game is going to be very short with so little to play with
Yeah, playing it now via the exe trick. It's pretty fun. Runs a little sluggish, even with my pretty damn good setup (dual GTX460s[768mb], 3.2ghz Phenom II X4, 4gb DDR3). Besides that, still. Pretty good.

There are also different drones, airstrikes, sights, etc. to unlock as well.
I spend 12 hours downloading from D2D. Install it on Steam. Now I have to download more off of Steam? WHY?
How big is this patch or whatever it is?

oh man, i'm fucked.
i've got a 4650 with two gigs of ram.
So what I downloaded from D2D was apparently only half of the game. I spend 12 hours downloading whatever that was and now I have to download another 4 GBs which is going to be around 6 hours. Awesome.
Well thats something, run installer. Only give me 50% of the game :saddowns:

I can't even play since everything is laggy as fuck once I get to the main menu
I'm on the fence about getting this. I pass the minimum specs, and have no problem running on lower settings, but if it doesn't run well then I will end up wasting $50.
I have a 9500GT 1GB DDR2, with a E7200 Intel Dual Core processor, and about 2 gigs of ram.
