I hope America is conquered for good in the end. Hey, it might not be the best but atleast it's the better Korea than USA.
iron sight animations looks like shit(only watched 1 multiplayer video)
This art seems a little bit silly. Surely if somebody was a remember of a resistance against an occupying power the absolute last thing they would want to do is hang up their flag right in the damned window?

"It's a game" is an awful argument. Ever heard of Immersion?
I really wanted this game until I found out it was being made by Kaos. Looked into it more on the site, its Frontlines: Fuel of war with a new setting.
"It's a game" is an awful argument. Ever heard of Immersion?
I agree with this point. However, even though an American flag draped over a window could be construed as patriotic, there doesn't seem to be anything about it that symbolizes the resistance movement in particular.
Their main base is in a unoccupied abandoned suburb, its on the website. Read up on it.

It symbolizes the total collapse and decline of the country, and shows that now, its citizens, rather than hang their flag in pride, see it as little more than a window covering after all that had happened.
I bet Gmod_Fan is gonna love this game, it finally realizes his vehemently anti-american dreams of destroying the country and massacring all of its people.
While the fact that something like this is completely asstardedly impossible, it looks fun.
Looks like it'll be very interesting. Dunno about the Multiplayer though. It looks fun, but it's pretty much gonna be MW2/Black Ops rolled in a more realistic shell.
It's a lot closer to BC2 than MW2

But I was actually disputing Cheesedelux's implication that the flag was specifically a symbol of resistance.

It has a far deeper/philosophical symbolism than just a symbol of the Resistance. I hope Best Korea's playable.
north korea has been confirmed playable
This looks like a really interesting game. The commercial pulled me in, and I'll play it only for the story if nothing else.
heh I like how it's getting released on my birthday
Got around to fixing up the main page, at last.
Why are there three identical Homefront logos in the OP it's been bugging me
north korea has been confirmed playable
I think I'll be playing this.
Why are there three identical Homefront logos in the OP it's been bugging me
I accidentlly copy-pasted the same image, and I'm just leaving it alone since it editing would fuck the media links up. [editline]20th January 2011[/editline] Damn it I forgot to fix that when I spruced up the main page.
THERE'S NO SCOPE SWAY. THANK YOU KAOS STUDIOS. This game looks like a good mix of Battlefield style vehicle combat mixed with more close-quarters CoD infantry combat; I'm interested.
north korea has been confirmed playable
Hm, I thought that you can only side with NK while you play as an american soldier.... My bad.
I'm really digging the art design in this game. It basically looks like a gritty version of Mirrors Edge, which was a beautiful game itself. I want a button that causes the player to scream "Wolverines!!" when in ambush.
Hm, I thought that you can only side with NK while you play as an american soldier.... My bad.
That might be what THQ meant. You don't actually get to play AS a Korean soldier, but you get to side with them if you choose. Either way, they're playable in the campaign.
Dude at 1:12 in the World of Homefront trailer looks like a combination of Brendan Fraiser and Nicholas Cage
Update: Apparently, there will be siege-based gamemodes for multiplayer. It's just a mentioning, but if it's implemented, apparently, a group of US soldiers played by team 1 will try to take a fort/base held by the NK forces played by team 2. It's kind of like king of the hill, in essence.
