So the developers already know about the weird performance bugs and are working with THQ to fix them right now. The nice part about not being able to play for another 6 weeks is that the game should be fixed by then :buddy:
Also, anyone find it weird that there were no AK's in the game?
It takes place in 2027. Then again there is an M16 so v:v:v Kopimi is so mad I have him set to ignore he is box-stalking me now :saddowns:
My settings won't change. I just want to put it on low settings to have mega-frames-per-second. :(
All this talk about the game not running well on uber systems makes me fear for my GTX 260 :ohdear:
So is the overall consensus of facepunch that homefront's bad or decent? Worth the 60?
Well its $50 for pc. And I don't know since I didn't buy it.
All this talk about the game not running well on uber systems makes me fear for my GTX 260 :ohdear:
That's what I have. It runs fine. I just want more FPS by lowering the settings, but they don't lower.
All the sound in singleplayer is incredibly out of sync what the fuck
A beta would have been awesome for testing different hardware. Too bad betas (and demos, apparently) are a relic of the past.
All this talk about the game not running well on uber systems makes me fear for my GTX 260 :ohdear:
I run at max settings, minus ambient occlusion, on a 4850. Around 30 or so FPS.
Hmm, getting a weird problem where the voices won't match up with the character's facial movements.

Would anyone by chance know why this crashes when I try to stream it with Procaster? keep getting this error when I try.
I want my key from D2D! DAMNIT!
So how is it? I just ordered a new computer that can run it, so I'm contemplating getting it.
So how is it? I just ordered a new computer that can run it, so I'm contemplating getting it.
Short singleplayer Buggy on the PC (performance issues, sound issues) I would wait a bit to see if things smooth over before investing.
Well my performance was playable but not perfect. I got right to the part(beginning of first level) where [sp]the truck crashes into your bus. But then right there, the truck disappears, the NPCs freeze, I can look around but nothing happens.[/sp] Is that a common problem? I'll give multiplayer a shot but I expect performance to be worse.
I've noticed that there's a lot of times where I'm just sitting waiting for the NPCs to do something. It's kinda aggravating.
It's really too bad the campaign is average because I like the multiplayer. We need more games that have both good singleplayer and multiplayer.
The sniping is so bad in the multiplayer. Using the intervention which shows having better stats than the starter it still cant one hit kill unless its a head shot which is hard seeing as the hit boxes are fucked up.
Whoa, I thought I had gone back in time to when Black Ops was released. Seriously, Black Ops had most of the same problems. :v:
I've played a bit of Single Player, it was all right. When it froze and crashed, I turned it on and went to try multiplayer. I saw a lot of 32 player servers. I'm real glad that 32 seems to be the limit, sure beats the 18 limit on black ops. I join a completely random one, a TDM, and did 3 rounds. I love the maps to death. This BP system is pretty cool, making it so I can't just use an RPG willy nilly. Same with the UAV. Seemed pretty balanced. I'm pretty happy with the multiplayer, I'll be going back for more later.
I finally solved my lagging menu issue and can now run the game fullscreened. The issue was that I had some tablet drivers running and I just needed to disable it. I had the same issue with Bioshock, so I had a feeling it was my tablet drivers again.
It's really too bad the campaign is average because I like the multiplayer. We need more games that have both good singleplayer and multiplayer.
Nah, we need more games that solely focus on one of the two, not a half-assed attempt at either.
I was too optimistic for expecting this to have less issues than it has right now. Meh, time to wait a few months for the game to actually be fixed. I was really looking forward to this, too, but the bad things being said about the SP plus the optimization issues are turning me off.

Just about every FPS released on PC is somewhat buggy or unoptimized at first. Not to mention it's not as bad as Black Ops when it first came out on PC (and still is buggy as fuck). The game is still a blast.
While I rescind some of my complaints about MP, which is average, they really need to re-balance weapon damage.
www.livestream.com/ddr2 I'm livestraming some multiplayer.
It's absolutely no reason to turn off buying the game.
I'm not buying because I have a poor CPU plus what I hear about optimization issues and how the campaign did not live up to expectations. (from what I've heard)
The game is badly optimized at the higher end, it runs like a dream on lower settings and bad PCs, the people having problems are people trying to run the game maxed out because they think they should be able to, but can't due to poor optimization.
