I'm enjoying the multiplayer a lot.
The main reason I bought it was because it came with Metro 2033, which I heard was a pretty good game. Truthfully, Homefront was almost like the bonus tacked on to Metro 2033, not the other way around.
I also bought it as a sort of test to see if it can run on my new computer. Which it still hasn't come yet, but I can wait.
I was atleast expecting a spiritual sucessor to Freedom Fighters, very disappointed.

I find it funny that the SMG kills in like 3-4 hits. But I pummel other players with the mounted MGs on the tanks or humvees and they just keep on going.

I can't even lower my settings, even if I put it all at very low. There is no difference from the default normal settings. When I first looked at the server browser, it showed all the servers available. I got into one, but when I loaded it gave me no spawn menu, I couldn't do anything. Now the browser shows me about 8 servers, most empty, none have VAC, and I couldn't get into any of them. Still can't pass the [sp]crash[/sp] in the campaign, either.
This isn't specifically calling out any developers, but how is it possible that they have no problems whatsoever when creating and testing the game themselves, but it has so many issues on release? Even people with the recommended settings can't play, I'm assuming they would've tested this on the minimum and recommended specs, and hopefully some in between. But it's been a recurring theme for a while now to have a hundred issues the first day, that developers somehow never knew existed during months of developing.

Bullshit, the Black Ops campaign was insanely short as well. It's just that dying a lot lengthens it.
maxed out i'm getting around 50 fps with a core 2 duo and a 1gb 5770. haven't checked multiplayer, though

I honestly think that the Semi-auto sniper needs a nerf. It's way to easy to get one-hit kills with it. If they tune down the damage a bit, it'd be perfect. Follow-up shots with the gun is not that hard with the lack of sway.
Finished the campaign and what was there was actually really good. It's sad that it's so short which will be a major flaw for when people review this game. Now i am going to go play multiplayer.
