I told you guys this was going to be MW2 clone bullshit.
But nobody listened to me.
Honestly, they announced it was going to be a ?-10 hour game, the singleplayer, so it's rediculous people are complaining that they bought it for the SP and its short.
I've seen this more as a multiplayer game from the first time I saw beta footage..
When a game tells me on every trailer and commercial that its from the writers of red dawn, I figured it would be an excellent experience with like-able characters. Not the case. The female was just a bleeding heart blind bitch who can't decide whos side she wants to be on. The redneck guy is just an out right cunt. The voice acting was horrible and it took me 3 straight hours of gameplay to beat the game, and some parts it just made me laugh at how silly it was, ex: [sp] neutrel asian guy: I can rewire these auto-AA guns to fire at the korean jets instead of ours. Bleeding heart chick: IN ENGLISH please[/sp]
Multiplayer is great, campaign is less then movie length, and was mediocre at best. I'd wait to get it when its on sale.

It doesn't even feel like MW2. Feels more Battlefield to me. I've yet to see any knife bullshit in Homefront and no noobtubes.
Machinima gave it an 8/10 saying that the sound was off and that the graphics were dated. I agree with them on these points and on what they had to say about multiplayer.
Machinima is one of the worst gaming-related services there is, unless you're interested in Call of Duty and Halo montages on a daily basis, you shouldn't be viewing it.

I told them you were an idiot
and most of them agree.

On hard difficulty, been playing for over 4 hours and I haven't beat it yet. Even though it is short, and a bit COD-ish in some of the 'actiony' moments, I still am finding it very fun and unique in its own way. I actually felt sadness when [sp] the NK were bombing the houses in the distance. [/sp] I'm getting through the singleplayer so I can play this multiplayer everyone's on about..
also the game runs perfect for me, usually I'm the only one with performance issues in games..

They had a good reason to not listen to you and still do.
I watched the intro cutscene w/ the bus on Youtube and it all just seem lame and forced, just felt like I was watching American propaganda or something (the youtube comments about how people want to kill Koreans now didn't really help). Also where did China go? Did they vanish into a black hole or something
Beat the campaign in 5 hours, and despite the length, I loved it. I really felt emotion during certain parts and I do wish it was longer, but it is what it is.
Multiplayer is fan-fucking-tastic though. It runs slower than SP, but it's playable enough for me to have a 2.5+ KDR.
Does anybody have the issue with the audio being horribly out of sync? It's ridiculous for me. . .

Its not horrible for me, but it is a bit out of sync with the dialogue.. that'll probably be fixed soon

American propaganda...from a bus flipping over? I fail to see how you got that impression at all.
Idiots on youtube will remain idiots, if youtube comments reflect on a game itself in your mind then.. uhm

It feels like they recorded all of the sound in the game in one file and It's keeping it's own pace while I play the game, for example when the bus flips and we go into the store, as we're leaving through the back the woman said "they've spotted up get into the store". Guess I can't play it till they fix it. . .

I know the sound issue is really killing it for me. . .
No I mean."Hurr durr evil enemy which may as well be robots because there's nothing distinguishable about them, they just like to kill everything for no reason". For a game going on it's story, and the fact it was written by a famous author it's pretty weak. Actually most games for Western Audiences suffer from that so maybe I'm just looking in too deep

Play the fucking game, the characters aren't emotionless robots. But you wouldn't know because you're judging the game on a 5 minute block of intro.

It's funny because our movies become mediocre action movies because producers want to please foreign audiences.
The only game I ever got into the story was GTA4, it was long enough to grow the characters but short enough to keep me from getting bored of them, well apart from "NIKO DO YOU WAN'T TO GO BOWLING!?" every hour.
If anything Homefront's story feels like something that should have been spread over a few games and over a much longer campaign in each game.

some people get drunk while playing games, its common
Reached threat level 4. Shit was so cash. I had increased damage and increased run speed and I forgot the other bonus. SCAR is burst fire but so accurate.

Actually it's the opposite. If something alienates the domestic audience, sales drop, therefore most blockbuster movies are aimed towards you.

2012 was considered mediocre in the US, yet made over $400 million in Europe.
So... :v:

It's because Europeans like seeing the US getting decimated.

NK took over SK, then Japan, than the rest of Asia before going for the US (I think)
Okay so, is this game worth forking over 50 dollars for? It looks very fun from what I can see.
[editline]15th March 2011[/editline]
Oh, and will it destroy my record of beating all modern FPS call-of-duty-ish singleplayer campaigns in one sitting?

And China with its 1 billion size population, largest army + nuclear stockpile just gave up?

I'm guessing China collapsed on itself.
