Ending wasn't that great, but it had some small sense of conclusion. Norks got pushed back, woo.
Apparently there has been some info leaked regarding SP DLC with you resuming the role of Jacobs again, pushing the Koreans out of California, and playing a British SAS member sent with his team to Hawaii. Each set of DLC has 3 chapters. Looking forward to that if it is true, and the other maps that are part of the MP but haven't been released for DLC yet. :colbert:
I just played the SP, the AI is buggy is hell.
Played for 2 hours without hackers.
Ironically got kicked from a server because they thought I was hacking :saddowns:
Id like to enjoy the multiplayer but everytime i get in the mood to play it, i get the feeling id get frustrated rather than enjoyment.
You have to try it sometime, huge part of the game.
So you never try it to find out..
ground assault swarm, get enough kills with each drone and you have a endless supply of them
fuckin cool
So..this or Crysis 2 is on my mind atm.

Bit incomparable imo. I like both games respectfully. I'm planning to buy Crysis 2 shortly as well.
There needs to be more guns, drones, vehicles, and gamemodes.

I wouldn't mind paying $5 or $10 on that kind of content, but I sure as hell ain't gonna pay $50 for a sequel.

So, if they take the time to make a sequel and actually do it right you still won't pay 50$ for it?

I am liking Homefront alot, but I would go for Crysis 2. I'm hearing mostly good things about it. Lots of people are having mixed opinions about homefront, and we don't need another "WAHH I HATE THIS GAME" post in the thread if it turns out you don't like it.

I'm not exactly rich here, boyo.
but I say pick up homefront when it drops in price a little.

I'll probably rent Crysis 2 for the SP. I rented HF and I liked the SP, so I'll probably like the MP.
Completely different, I know, but still.
Ah.. I am not so lucky.
I wish PC had some sort of rent-type system for games :(

Wouldn't work because it's so goddamn easy to pirate stuff.

What about using steam, like the "free day" system? You have a certain time to play it, once that times up it redirects you to the rent page or whatever.
I dunno :saddowns:

I could see Valve doing that and they should.
They should hire me for my marketing genius.

this is definitely one of the most boring games i've ever played. and it really shouldn't be.
[QUOTE=Rusty100;28760780]this is definitely one of the most boring games i've ever played. and it really shouldn't be.[/QUOTE]
What part is boring? The singleplayer or multiplayer? I wasn't really bored with either, but sometimes frustrated by performance or something else.
I got bored of Crysis 2 before I even reached max demo rank. I stealth killed someone, air stomped someone, and got in dumb gunfights where both of us popped armor and hoped our SCAR spray killed the other guy first.

the single player
its really trying hard to be emotional and action packed but ends up being neither
[editline]23rd March 2011[/editline]
hell even black ops single player was more interesting than this (and i hated black ops)
[editline]23rd March 2011[/editline]
and it feels like it has some serious memory leaks and it's bluescreened me on one occasion
[editline]23rd March 2011[/editline]
i'm not going to troll or something, i just wanted to say what i thought of the game and it's fine if you enjoy it and i won't stop you i'll only really continue on or elaborate if i'm asked as to why
The SP of this game was pretty short, but it wasn't THAT bad.
Is it worth the $50? or should i wait. I know the campaign is only 5 hours long, but I heard the multiplayer is fantastic.
Could someone help me out à little?
I bought homefront. But whenever i try to download it says that "steam servers are too busy to handle your request"
Is this a common problem? I don't want to have paid 50€ for nothing
[QUOTE=MagicBurrito;28759705]but I say pick up homefront when it drops in price a little.[/QUOTE]
I say do this too. The price is a little steep, but it is overall a great game. I think it is the kind of game where you will have people that love it and the people that hate it.
