The balloons were bio-degradable, just people making a fuss over nothing.
The balloons were bio-degradable, just people making a fuss over nothing.
even if they are bio-degradable it takes a long time to degrade, especially if it's floating in the water.
I'm surprised Kim_Jong_Il hasn't posted here yet. I'd love to hear his opinion on this game
Which means that "It can't be a clone of a game they made." is invalid.
Except in this case it's implied as if they were copying another studio's work.
Wait, if this is running steamworks, does that mean that if I preordered it on gamestop it could be activated on steam? [editline]3rd March 2011[/editline] Although I'm disappointed by the RPS article saying that the first few missions were "follow" missions, if the campaign is more emotionally engaging than "AMERICUH #1" the singleplayer could be fun to play through.

Looks ALOT like COD sadly.
Looks like Homefront to me.
Looks ALOT like COD sadly.
EVERY first person shooter set in modern times looks like CoD, it is impossible for it not to.
Looks like Homefront to me.
Looks like CoD mixed with BF gameplay.
Yep, still worth it. Anyone else who pre-ordered?
Yep, still worth it. Anyone else who pre-ordered?
Yep.
The gunplay and play style looks very call of duty. Instakill melee, fairly similar weapons (they sound similar to most guns in MW2 as well, I don't like those sounds much). But the game mode and scale seems much more Batlefield. Especially the vehicles, they would make a great addition to this kind of thing.
Frontlines: Fuels of War 1.5 Which was reasonably fun, so I'm looking forward to this.
Going to pre-order on the 11th, dunno if I should go through Steam or Gamestop. Free Metro 2033 or DLC shotgun :ohdear:
Frontlines: Fuels of War 1.5 Which was reasonably fun, so I'm looking forward to this.
Coincidentally the same devs of Frontlines but I take it you already know. I think they did a good job on Frontlines, I play it from now to then, it's a bit unoptimized though but otherwise really fun to prance around killing people with your drones. Can't wait for Homefront to come out, anybody read the book and recommend it?
The idea of being a resistance fighter is great, I love game like these, but if pulled off rightly. Sabotaging buildings, small skirmishes, ambushes and all that Jazz. For instance RFG tried that but you're a one man army killing everything with a huge hammer. The game was awesome nevertheless. We need such a game including a somewhat realistic feeling about fighting for freedom, Freedom Fighters was pretty awesome to. But to be honest, this looks generic.
I liked the new trailer. Looks like they touched up on stuff alot.
Looks ALOT like COD sadly.
Yeah it also looks alot like Battlefield and Halo and Medal Of Honor. You know, They all have guns and vehicles. It also looks like TF2 because of that pre-order hat. Did I also tell you that they're all FPS's ? Seriously, game developers have no imagination nowadays. /sarcasm.
Yeah it also looks alot like Battlefield and Halo and Medal Of Honor. You know, They all have guns and vehicles.
:downs: The shooting mechanics look similar to CoD's and the vehicle warfare is on the scale of Battlefield's.
There's not that much improvement, CoD and Battlefield have done great jobs at their respective parts.
Any reviews yet? Unless it's a series I already know, I hate getting a game before I hear some reviews...
Interesting and yet absolutely hateable plot... but the game looks fun.
Any reviews yet? Unless it's a series I already know, I hate getting a game before I hear some reviews...
Playstation Italia gave it 9/10.
Not exactly a review but RPS played a not-quite-finished build recently and said it's extremely frustrating
I hope that at the start of the game you get a look to the korean's cruelty to the citiziens.
Did they confirm that you can support North Korea?
The developers have said in one of my gaming magazines that they actually tried to carefully emulate the play style of Call of Duty's recent games, from the melee to the aim time, specifically to cause little need for adjustment between Call of Duty and Homefront and so players can feel right at home. Take that as you will, those who dislike COD.
hey look its modern warfare 3 all jokes aside i really don't see anything innovative about this game, i mean they had to bundle a cheap headset with it at best buy to at least attract some attention because really, i've seen this game way too many times before.
