But, the patch seemed to have completely broken the game for me.
I can't change my res. (It reset to some really low res)
I crashed after about 5 minutes.
But the snipers are a lot less annoying.
fps are wayyy better, but still too low to game graphics and unplayable with ambient oclusion
I wish the patch fixed the server browser lag, that's whats mostly keeping me from playing.

Yeah but the problem is it starts searching as soon as I open the browser so I have to drag my cursor through the lag to hit cancel.

It's the best fix as of now, much better than having to deal with it the whole time, hopefully they fix it soon.
The patch fixes all the real game crippling issues this game has atm except for the server browser lag. Hopefully they fix that when the Suburbs + Shotgun patch comes out for PC. :)

It's not like waited months to just release a patch. They are still updating the game, also.
So, that is just a horrible reason, saying you hate the game would be much more justifiable then that reason.
I don't hate the game. At first I rented it for the SP and became interested in purchasing it for the MP, and eagerly awaited the patch that would fix the problems so many people were having, but Kaos did not deliver it soon enough that my interest in the game waned and I decided that Brink would be a better purchase for me. I don't see how that's unreasonable.

This would have been understandable if it was before the patch came out but right after it comes out you say, "Too late time to move on to another game".

Are you kidding me? It didn't take that long for them to release a patch, and there was a shit ton of work to be done in a patch. They couldn't just change a couple of cvars or lines of code to fix a bug. Not to mention the recent patches have really done the job and the game is great now, with better balancing.
Uh, yeah. I'm aware, but I was saying that Kaos' newest patch didn't pick up my interest in the game again.
Is anyone else having trouble just getting into servers? I've had the game since release, I got into my first server ever just an hour ago. I had a lot of fun, but I couldn't add it to my favorites during the game, so I left for a minute to add it. Turns out there's no recent servers list, and again I am unable to play. Is this a common problem that they will be fixing, or is it just me?
I played multiplayer for the first time since the patch.
I'm glad there are less snipers.
I'm not glad there's just as many campers, now they just use assault rifles.

That's the first mistake.
The majority of reviewers did spend most of their articles ripping on the admittedly poor singleplayer. At the same time though, even if it is really fun now, I still wouldn't tell people to spend $50 on the multiplayer alone.
Yeah, I agree. Its fun but waiting for the price to go down would be the best plan.
I'm really sucking in multiplayer after not playing for awhile. Everyone can take me down in two shots while I seem to hit them 5-6 times before they go down.
Probably perks or something that I don't have yet

What exactly does flak jacket do? I've always had to put use launchers to take out the bloody air support...
Increases your maximum health. No one knows the exact number, but it is very noticeable, and is now only 250BP. I have it on every kit except my sniper and dedicated anti-tank kit.
