I think I'll take this as an opportunity to reflect on all the good updates and content that Notch made and then be incredibly excited for the hopeful tsunami of content we might get from Jeb.

Managing director has always been listed as Carl Manneh.
Yes you may already know this but every day I see people thing Mojang = Notch. Carl Manneh is probably a good CEO because he knows that game developing is normally best left well alone, and intervetion from an executive point should only be taken if it something threatens the company.
I say we show a little love to Carl Manneh, thanks to him(at least in part), Mojang is still afloat.

Notch needs to start taking a back-seat in Mojang as a whole. (In the sense of being less of a public figurehead) This yogscast fiasco shows how poor he is at handling situations professionally. He'll only damage his own company.

The Bethesda incident clearly shows that Notch isn't able to take things seriously.

Probably the largest period of growth in Minecraft was when Jens was brought on board, I'd say that was between 1.4-1.8, before that huge gap from 1.7 and 1.8. I can't remember exactly, but every single post of his was an excellent idea that he implemented, there were [B]a lot[/B]

C'mon people, what did Notch do to deserve all the hate? Yes, he was a little rude with Yogcast, but he MADE THE FUCKING GAME from scratch and kept updating it alone up until late alpha (=> totally about 10000% more than what Jeb did), which made him enough money to establish a company and hire the damn Jeb and everyone else.
Other than that, he seems to be awesome dude, judging from tweets and videos and such and very well behaved (even though he was hatin' on Yogcast, he didn't forget to mention how strongly he approves of their work). Yes, he did take frequent vacations, but I guess I'll sound naive now, but they were very well deserved.
First order of business should be scrapping the End entirely and doing something good instead, like that floating islands place. Make it useful though.
