Defeating jeb gives you the leadership of minecraft, you can then fire notch, break the game or take vacations!
On the minecraft website they need to replace Word of Notch with the Word of Jeb_.
jeb needs to make
-clocks that can be hung on walls (item clocks)
-maps on walls
-more strongholds
-give the sea or ocean more
-scrap the end, add the thing where when you sleep, you go into that skyworld thing
-upgrade the nether (i dunno)
-maybe we could have first person hands when we use items?

How about fixing stuff that Notch broke or didn't finish?
Like 3/4 of the game.
I want to dual wield items, like using a Sword and torch at the same time.
I want to dual wield items, like using a Sword and torch at the same time.
Do you want to learn to shout at the dragon too
I used to be a miner like you, then i took an arrow to the leg-block
I don't think there should be a boss at all.
It all started when Notch suddenly wanted the game to be a full blown RPG and as always his idea turned out to be impossible to properly implement so he started another "secret/awesome" project.
Would be best if Jeb totally got rid of The End and get back to SkyLands idea.
And put the ender dragon in normal world, BUT make it reside only specific, very rare volcano biomes so the dragons won't make huge canyons in the whole world.
That's pretty much impossible because Jeb can't just get rid of the shit that Notch already implemented because Notch will flip the shit out and fire him.
Actually no, he will swear at him through Twitter, then fire him and after a week he will beg him to get back.
I think Enderdragons should still be there, but an infinite amount and very rare. They'd be hard to kill but would drop a chest/bag full of unique/randomized loot on death.
At first, I thought it was the KSP Jeb :v:
At first, I thought it was the KSP Jeb :v:
That would turn Minecraft into Michael Bay movie.
Maybe now the single oldest thing that has been asked to be included into Minecraft will be worked on. (I'm exaggerating, don't go all sperg.)
Motherfucking.
Stained
GLASS
It'd be great if we could have more lighting color variations, but a lot of people are going to get disappointed by stained glass because of how lighting works.

uuuuh no. its still notch's blog. just because jeb is leader now doesnt mean he takes over notch's blog as well...

Mining, which needs more in it.
I don't see what else it needs, everyone just says that because "ITS MINECRAFT SO ITS ABOUT MINING"

Because we want more variety? I want a few more ores and minable object. Not much to ask, add more balance to the game. At this point, the gap between iron and diamond is huge, but you can get diamond easily. In my opinion, a new ore, or material of some sort needs to be added after iron, but require a bit more work, such as steel. Make smelting an actual useful practice and make it more complex, make iron a bit more rare, and diamond much more rare, and adding in ores such as copper, and allow smelting to become useful for steel, bronze, etc, so that we have a larger amount of tiers that are useful, and thus getting diamond is more difficult and more rewarding.
Plus, I would love a better, more complex alchemy system similar to Skyrim's. Where every item has a set effect, or effects. Add a ton more items, which should be done anyway, and we can have much more unique potions as well as more tiered potions that could have multiple effects.
Not to mention the writable books, useful cauldrons, magic system, enhanced combat, etc, that would make the game amazing.
I want placeable clocks, placeable maps, and generally more shit to decorate my houses/bases with.
But there's no point in bridging the gaps with materials. They need huge gaps, otherwise you'll be switching tiers faster than you can make the items. Hell, I already just make a wood pickaxe and skip wood from the get go. I disagree that diamonds are easy to find especially when a full tool and armor set requires 34 of them, not to mention you're going to need them for an enchantment table.
One thing I could see is alternates to iron that are roughly equals in overall quality, essentially sidegrades. One could perform faster but be less durable (like gold except obviously buffed to be less useless), iron could serve as the middle ground, and one could be very durable but overall less effective. Perhaps a kind of material that is weaker in both aspects but repairs better? Or perhaps it gains a boost to any enchantment? (again, gold already does that but seriously fuck gold)
generally more shit to decorate my houses/bases with.
This. Why can't we get god damn chairs/tables/candles/whatever? I gave up on making houses long time ago since they end up looking like dog shit anyways, I just dig a hole into a mountain and expand it downwards like an underground complex.
atleast no more of this

As in Jeb has a tumbler and they just put his their instead of notches.

then they both have their own separate blogs then.
Just stealing shit from Terraria but, I'd like to be able to walk around holding a torch that emits light rather than having to place it, and some kind of mining helmet you can wear which emits light.
I would love something like that. And a hell of a lot of bugfixes.
Overall though, very happy Notch isn't in command anymore and I can't wait to see what Jeb has in store for Minecraft.
oh hey so a friend of mine emailed Jeb about how there's little to no admin control for server owners, and how he'd like to see more features that will allow things such as which mobs spawn, how much damage they do, density of spawns, etc. yknow, without the use of bukkit.
Jeb answered that he's working with the bukkit team right now. Which is kinda vague, but that means he's working with actually important community members to fix multiplayer. So, optimistic.

Ooh, Jeb's answering e-mails? Time send one about my "mineshafts need surface entrances" idea. If I'm not mistaken, Mineshafts were Jeb's work, correct?

ive been wanting that since before terraria existed
how about using the age old Lantern item for this? could be made from lots of glowstone dust. this would also give nether more of a purpose.
Emailed jeb.
Asked him to please work on alchemy more.

Yea, all the generated structures were done by Jeb. Strongholds, mineshafts, villages, and Nether strongholds.
When the Enderdragon is killed, more floating islands should begin generating around the starting area and End Stone should begin to turn into grass/dirt spreading outwards from the fountain. Passive animals begin to spawn, etc, and you can live there if you wish. Night time there has the current synthetic black sky, while during day-time it's pure white similar to clouds. There's no sun, no moon, so you have to be careful when day/night begins to transition. During the night Endermen are plentiful, but spiders/skeletons/zombies will still occasionally spawn. Creepers won't because the world is floating which creates too much risk. It's like giving the ability for a creeper to occasionally blast a hole down to-and-through bedrock from where it's standing, and Endermen already take blocks anyway. If you build a path outward, the world continues to generate loosely but as infinitely as the overworld, so long as you can keep building bridges. As you dwindle more and more towards the 10,000x10,000 "oceanic" limit of the overworld, the floating islands get smaller and smaller. Slowly at first but more dramatically as you move forward.
This keeps the whole enderdragon-boss thing, and the enderdragon isn't able to destroy existing terrain, but it adds a kind of darkness-corruption thing and combines the skylands aspect. Agree/Disagree?
That sounds like a wonderful way to fix the End; by killing the Enderdragon the End, well, "ends", and in it's place you make a beginning for a new world. The fauna should be somewhat different from the overworld, though, like elegant alien birds or even flying manta rays, something well-suited to an environment where one has to fly between different islands.

You've reminded me of these.

Come to think of it, the End does resemble Xen in a way.
All we need are Endta Rays and Endian Controllers.
