Jeb is the new boss of Minecraft - Games

Taking a month of vacation is a well deserved vacation for a grown up. Taking 58% of the year on vacation (and accumulating more than a year of vacations over 3 years) is being a lazy rich fuck!

Wow, he sure has done a lot; Sheep regrowing their wool, multiple languages supported, and now the Modding API. What's next on his agenda?

I don't think Notch deserves all the hate that he gets from some people, but he definitely doesn't deserve the unconditional love that some kids on the MC forum give him.

Holy shit. So basically Jeb started working on everything Notch promised, and more within the past 7 days? I wonder if [url=http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Lantern]Lanterns[/url] will see the day soon too then. When ever I read that, it just sounds more and more like a good idea. Especially the ability to hang them from the ceiling and a carry-able light source for cave exploring! Also, more reason to go to the Nether. Sure, Nether Fortresses are cool and all, but I mostly have to wander for half-an-hour just to find one! In my opinion you it's not interesting enough to go to the Nether for since potions doesn't really affect gameplay that much. And Blaze Power for an Eye of Ender is not that great at all either since finishing the game only gives you a shit ton of experience to use when you have the Enchantment Table which aren't hard to obtain at all. I'm incredibly happy that Jeb were put in charge, and I'm really happy that he's adding stuff to the regular overworld Minecraft, since The Nether and The End mostly just seems like uninteresting empty rooms with not enough content.

Is Jeb going to start releasing weekly snapshots, because I remember reading it somewhere in this thread but I can't find it again.

Time to convert my ingame religion from Notchism to Faith of Jeb. \:v:/

Maybe if everyone pesters Jeb about making redstone more compact and advanced he will actually do it.

Y'know, the Little Blocks mod makes mechanisms much easier to compact. Combine that with something like Redpower and you have some super-tech.

I still wonder how this ModdingAPI will work like.
