Damn shame that no-one out there has the will to make actual singleplayer missions and campaigns.
There's 2 DLCs that are skirmishes. Though AS is focused towards multiplayer instead of singleplayer of Vanilla, Red tide, and Vietnam.
My god. Assault Squad is so fucking fun. 1000 times better than the original.
yes it is' also way more optimized for MP and rendering and AI ... i like to call it RTS equivalent of our ARMA games (and considering AS to be like OA)
yes it is' also way more optimized for MP and rendering and AI ... i like to call it RTS equivalent of our ARMA games (and considering AS to be like OA)
MoW is to CoH as RO2 is to BF1942
yes it is' also way more optimized for MP and rendering and AI ... i like to call it RTS equivalent of our ARMA games (and considering AS to be like OA)
Great now I want modern day Men of War.
Great now I want modern day Men of War.
IMO, that'd be even less forgiving to newbie players than WWII MoW. Armored vehicles are ungodly expensive, airstrikes and precision artillery will decimate anyone not looking at every last corner of the map constantly, etc
Great now I want modern day Men of War.
There's one being made of the conflict in Georgia in 08.
Anyone have tips for beating the German mission in original MOW where you have to defend AA turrets and have access to a destroyer? At some point there's a mass of infantry and tanks which overwhelm me because I can't replenish mine.
Most people here prefer Assault Squad. Original has a good singleplayer.
Faces of War had a better singleplayer than Men of War.
Faces of War had a better singleplayer than Men of War.
I didn't really like all that stealth stuff. And the AI is kind of stupid and that made it really hard to finish a mission with 4 guys while the AI was getting shot up by everything!
Unlimited friendly AI made everything look cool though. Plus they were useful as meatshields. Plus not being limited in ammo was nice
What difficulty are you playing it on?
Carebear difficulty (easy)
What's the best Men of War to pick up from steam?
Assault squad for multiplayer, original Men of War for singleplayer, Red tide if you're sick and get off on being abused.
Assault squad for multiplayer, original Men of War for singleplayer, Red tide if you're sick and get off on being abused.
THE FUCKING PARATROOPER MISSION!
There's 2 DLCs that are skirmishes. Though AS is focused towards multiplayer instead of singleplayer of Vanilla, Red tide, and Vietnam.
Haha, no-one buys them and they are just the same as the ones we have.
Anyone wanna play some Assault Squad?
I wonder if I'd get a job at Instinct, I have job experience on recycling things.
Anyone wanna play some Assault Squad?
Add on steam, and join the 2 FP MOW groups.
I just got Assault Squad, and I have no idea what I'm doing. Is there a speed slider that I can adjust, or something, because there is too much interface to deal with in the time between I move a squad and they all get cut down. Is there a recommended tutorial?
Backspace controls slowmo / fast forward (only in SP)

Me and my friends just played the new stealth mission on Heroic and we won.
I am debating buying men of war Assault Squad. I loved the original, is it really worth it? Also, how many new vehicles in Vietnam? Any sign of the M551 Sheridan?
