Well DCG working now, but I can't see what the big fuss is about it. It's about as annoying as the SP missions on hard. I chose early war as USSR vs Ger, got 2 squads and a 45mm field gun thinking I'd run into maybe a light tank and Panzer II, but instead they sent two Ausf Gs and about 100 german soldiers at me. How do you even...? [editline]10:29AM[/editline] Actually, this is terrible. It's just sending tanks at you that you can't handle backed up by armies of infantry spam. It's not even playable.

This game is good besides the voice acting. The narrator sounds he's narrating a BBC history documentary.

What I hate about the multiplayer is the russians and their sence of "balanced". 6 High-ranking guys who have over 10,000 hours into the game versus bunch of beginners with few decent players (if you're lucky). And if you happen to be in those rusfags team they immediately start telling you to go to the other team. If not, it's a kick. Fucking overcompensating dickheads ruining my game bro.

I had two riflemen and the smallest AT gun the US have, I was moving my guys up cover by cover and a couple tigers, panthers and panzer IVs came out of nowhere. :smith:

Can't wait for the assault squad open beta.

Every time I start doing good DCG zerg rushes me with tanks. Although usually they blow each other up after raping my troops, so then I just pick the remaining ones off with AT grenades.

Funny thing is, we kicked their ass hard, ensuring lots of what I guess were insults in Russian. Luckily they were Shermans so the Tiger fucked shit up, but ultimately was destroyed after taking out nearly 15 tanks. [editline]07:43PM[/editline] Also when the hell is Assault Squad coming out?

I once had two Sherman M1A2 and DCG gave the Germans 3 Panthers and a King Tiger. Its a real bitch at times, but I love the challenge.

Anyone else who has the Assault Squad Beta? I won a key from RPS a few weeks aog. I can without a doubt say that Assault Squad will be a lot of fun once it gets released!

Assault squad isn't that much different from men of war, but definitely an improvement, but it's not much.

It's not even playable.[/QUOTE] Actually it's slightly more playable if you choose to play as the Russians against the Japanese in the Manchuria 1945 campaign. Since Japanese tanks are so shitty, the only real concern is scouts with artillery and Kamikazes.

i'd actually play it if it didn't have that stupid lag compensator (if one person lags on the server, it drains everyones fps to nil) but singleplayer runs at 75fps constant for me no matter what is going on, and oh, can't forget the fucking [b]irritating[/b] controls.

I think it's under the "game" category. That'll enable M1 selecting and M2 ordering. -Change "toggle direct control" in the controls category to the "end" get above your arrow keys. -Press M to toggle minimap.
