There are/were two that I can think of... However not their exact names. GSM? BOW? German Steel Mod? Brothers of War? I dunno, someone else here is bound to correct me :D

Yeah, GSM is a great mod. The only problem with it is some extreme unbalances. Like playing an early match with USA, all their tanks are [I][B]CRAP[/B][/I] and then you buy a 90mm AA gun, that can [I][B]OWN[/B][/I] any tank they have. Its like a flak gun only even more powerful and a deleriously long range. Then again playing early France vs. GER makes all up for it. PZ2's against Somuas. I remember one of the french players bought a renault FT-17 ww1 tank. It was so horrendously tiny and crud that my teammate just drove his panzer up to it and flipped it over.

What saddens me is this game doesn't really have an AI, hence why the skirmish in Assault Squad isn't regular MP matches against AI players. I also find the skrimish to be quite.. Lacking, I suppose. You do the exact same thing in each one of them. It would be very nice to change side to the defending team.
Do you have the AS beta?
Can anyone post what ports, exactly, are needed for multiplayer? Yes I tried google... Yes I tried portforward.com

you gotta love how you can jack abandoned Tanks. got through the second mission in German campaign by disabling the turret of the Brit Tanks, sending a guy or two over, jacking it, running them back to my forces, fixing them and then sending them off to combat. The only thing better than crushing your enemy is crushing your enemy [B]WITH THEIR OWN TANKS MUAHAHAHAHAH![/B]
so how does one make DCG work with a steam install?
Confused a bunch of new players in a Brit vs Jap round by taking two of their Chi-He or whatever it's called (mid tier japanese "heavy" tank whatever that may be). It's pretty damn funny actually, seeing the kill notifications just adds to it.
Then there's the fact that it literally takes longer to fix some of the shittier tanks (PI-III, T26, BT7, etc.) than they actually survive in combat. [editline]17th October 2010[/editline] farmer, download the 1.17.5 patch, extract the files from the exe, then move them to your MoW directory to patch it

It's the other way around for me. Me and my one PzIVG/Panther/ISU-152/T-34/KT/Slugger/Achilles/JP/JT/StuG/etc. against a legion of infantry.
Hit and run tactics with a greyhound or M20 is pure sex. Try it on castle. Take the Greyhound/M20 and ride it from one side of the inner circle to the other, wash rinse repeat. Fun as hell.
Also not to mention the permanent troll face that you get while doing it. Problem, Jerry?

The game doesn't have any real AI. The skirmish is simply like any SP mission where triggers tell the units to spawn and then carry out basic orders. And yes the_killer24, I have the AS beta. Skirmish is fun, tough as fuck though.
