Not so much base building as to let you fortify an area, those engineer trucks don't give nearly the amount of tank traps I always love to use. Also they're too easily destroyed, need to be down to either combat engineer's to blast tank traps with TNT or dismantle them with tools, and wire cutters for barbed wire. All a grenade would achieve was making it a tangled mess liable to trip you over and cut up your legs at best.
Best Way's games have always stepped up a notch in scale, from Soldiers: HoWWII, to FaceS of War, to Men of War. I hope their next big release will have ever grander scale, so we can enact battles like the Battle of Kursk.

Is there any way to choose different spawn points in multiplayer? I get spawn raped more often than not.
Sadly there is no way to change spawn point. Usually if you have them pushed all the way to your spawn point, you usually can in any fight on home turf. If this is near end game, then you've already lost anyway.
Anyone know if windowed mode works? I've clicked the fullscreen box a thousand times and it stays fullscreen no matter what.

You can use some weird applications to force it windowed, but this might mess stuff up. Alt-tabbing out of men of war is really fast, so it shouldn't really be a problem.
I want this with base building and AI.
I'd like base building that consisted of garrisoning people in buildings and selecting the building type. The HP of the building would be the amount of people in it. The destruction should be the same as well, so you can just drive a tank through and almost kill the entire building.

I lose absolute shit tons of performance if I play it on my current resolution.
9,115 Members. 885 to go! [editline]28th October 2010[/editline] How do you set up mines everywhere so quickly? I was in a Frontline match and my team-mate has setted mines nearly everywhere in 2 minutes.

Pretty much. You forgot about the lack of AI though.

You forgot about hardly anyone ever playing UK, US or Japan. Spot on otherwise :v:
You forgot about hardly anyone ever playing UK, US or Japan. Spot on otherwise :v:
Well there's no UK, US or Japanese vehicles/troops in it.
Heh, good point.
Wow, the Assault Squad open beta is almost here. Just needs 850 people. You're also forgetting random enemy infantry in bushes using AT nade/ Panzershreck/ Panzerfaust.
And panzerfaust spam on german infantry.
Look, I can only fit that much on the picture, besides, there isn't really that much panzerfausting nor panzershrecking. And I'm quite sure AT-nading is obvious enought to be not added into the picture [editline]29th October 2010[/editline] the dynamite guy drives that point anyway

I like the guy in the bush with the dynamite being right behind the IS-3 who's saying "No TNT or kick".

Reminds me of the first time I saw a train. I ordered all my guys to pile in and attempted to flank a shitload of tanks.
That turn is waaaayy steep for a train, it would break the train in half and derail it if it went any faster than walking pace
That turn is waaaayy steep for a train, it would break the train in half and derail it if it went any faster than walking pace
But it goes as fast as walking pace :v:
But it goes as fast as walking pace :v:
More like jogging pace, but yeah. Not very fast
