I fucking hate that stupid robot thing the Germans get. One minute i'm repairing my Slugger that was taken out by a fucking Hetzer the next its gone. In a fucking cloud.

That last game was awesome.

Goliaths are PISS EASY to kill if you have a proper line set up. ex: in my last game an enemy went right up to one of my teammates guys and i just blew it away w/ 57MM HE.

Can you kill Goliaths with small arms?

More importantly, can you kill them with shotguns?

Anything [I]but[/I] normal bullets will kill a goliath. (Not sure about .50 cals, they probably do) I had a M5 in the Caen skirmish mission shoot one of my goliaths with AP and it didn't explode. It died, hull crushed, but somehow it didn't explode.

Arrrgh fuck They removed being able to play Skirmish by yourself, now you need to get someone else to join the game or it won't let you start. Those fucking pricks now I have to play 400 ping games with a whole bunch of orphaned Russians.

Wait I thought of a thing: Does the Goliath have an inventory? Because if you could put a few Sturmtiger rockets in it, then drop them before detonating yourself, it would add a shitload of punch to the blast.

I wouldn't think it could drop its inventory because it's unmanned.

It would be pretty awesome if you could get a rifleman to stand on top of it as it moves.

Great, I keep getting yelled at by Russians for joining games with high pings even though their games fucking dominate the entire server browser. I'm tempted to learn Russian just to see what they're calling me. Does anybody from an English country actually play this game's multiplayer regularly? :frown:

me and some other people do, it mostly comes down to us insulting russians for being faggots and arty spamming/spawn camping in combat

Well I live in Australia so it's even harder for me. Any and every game that pops up in Australia gets full of either Russians or (very rarely) Australians.

If anyone sees a game hosted by Mildob, join it and mention you're from FP, I usually host well, and get good games going. But I always play with a team of my mates so it's doubtful you'll get on my side. Maybe some of you lot can get a team together to fight us, we haven't lost a game yet in AS.

i was just minding my own business, blasting germans with my arty when suddenly i see a goliath come out of the fog rolling full speed towards my arty encampment, which was stupidly close together, i begged him not to but it was too late and the thing blew up in the middle of all my arty what the hell are those things anyway? are they fictional?

i think the goliath is probably one of the pinnacles of german engineering sure its not much now, its just an rc car with some tnt, but this was the first real RC car, back in the 1940's

It's dumb how much line of sight goliaths have though. In real life the max range was either the length of the wire or however far the operator could see.
