If i play the normal MoW my FPS is about 30-40 but in MoW:AS i get around 10-15[/QUOTE] Same here, whenever I look into the distance or a tank drives through a building (or anything like that), the FPS drop by 40 if not more, and I tried in a skirmish were I was alone (so lag or netcode shouldn't affect much, right?) and it still did that. Now I know AS has improved the graphics quite a bit, but it doesn't look so good to justify that drop. Still it's a beta so hopefully stuff like this will be fixed.

At nades are your best bet, or few pak 40's. But for tanks i suggest that you aim at the area behind their tracks (lower hull?) Anyway it's an instand catastrophic explosion. sniffles
I hope GEM 3 will be for Men of War.. Or is it created for a new Men of War game? :ohmy: And does anyone knows a [b][i]Full[/b][/i] tutorial of the GEM editor? I only see not-finished/very basics tut's
I don't like AS. It seems to lack the realism of the first game. Infantry is much stronger now, which is stupid. A guy can take 5-10 smg shots before he goes down now. It also seems to me that there is a lot less armored units. I do like the new graphics and skins though, and the squad load-outs.

Did they actually change something? I mean apart from the infantry being more numerous (do they really take more shots to die? Seemed to me like it was usually 3 like in MoW).

I'm fighting against a panzer II with a hellcat and the bastard crushes my hull from the first shot, while three of my rounds bounced off him.
Hellcats don't exactly have the most armor... But that's what I don't like about APRC. Everything can kill everything now.

I'd be really suprised if it was over 30. Yes we would all love a completely new game on a completely new engine, but fact of the matter is that for a fledgling company that is not doable. AS's success holds the future for the MoW series, because BW sure as hell is done with it, except maybe some more offline milking (vietnam, red tide, some new game). Looking at how with such limited resources DMS managed to so tremendously improve MoW, I can't wait to see them get to opportunity to create a full sequel.[/QUOTE] Best Way is DMS. Actually DMS is an offshoot still associated with Best Way. If you look on DMS Games page, S: Heroes of WW2 is listed as a game they made. If you look on Best Way's site, Men of War is listed as a game developed by them. Faces of War's official forum is hosted on DMS' servers. I'm not entirely sure of the situation on how each company operates (if DMS is just an internal developer at Best Way, or a separate company working for Best Way), but the fact still stands, the entire series was developed by a single company, but at this point I think the arguing is done. We've both expressed our opinions and there isn't much more to say.

Just killed a King Tiger with an AT Willy. Holy fuck that was amazing.
Well almost anything can kill a King Tiger if the owner is dumb enough to expose its sides. Given you're facing it from the front, it's unbeatable unless you destroy its gun/tracks then flank it.
