My problem is that I never get the program to jump up again after I finish a mission and save it with the correct name and all
I had to edit a file to make it work properly for me. I'll take a look when I get home and tell you what I did.
*fixed
I had to edit a file to make it work properly for me. I'll take a look when I get home and tell you what I did.
Please do, because I have the same exact issue.
I'm interested in knowing the fix because after the campaign I'll want to play the DCG
My fix was you had to have the DCGcampaign program open while playing MoW.
Never forget the feeling of bum-rushing with 4 rifle-squads as me and one of my allies' nebelwerfers pound a tightly dug in russian defensive line, and having it actually work and winning shortly after. Those fucking katyushas.
Katyushas are why I'm proud to be russian god damn they were so sexy
My fix was you had to have the DCGcampaign program open while playing MoW.
That's kinda what the tutorial says too do though.
When I was a kid we used to go to the center of the city where they had one in the middle of the square and I got to climb on it and shit >:( automerge
Sturmtigerin' in vanilla is so much fun. Especially when you knock over an IS3, causing it to flip onto a katyusha, exploding that and followed by more death. It's incredible how much mayhem a single well aimed sturmtiger rocket can cause :v:
We need World of Tanks levels recreated in Men of War. I'm thinking of the city map with the railyard on one side, and the castle on the mountain on the other, with the big open square in the middle. I love that one.
There aren't any infantry carried .50 cals unless you take one from a vehicle though
:pcgaming: [editline]18th February 2011[/editline] Mg squad needed fire support. Threw in a .50 cal mg. A shoulder-fired .50 cal mg.
how2remove50 I can only take off the .30
how2remove50 I can only take off the .30
Crap. That was only a .30 cal. I think you could do it in MOW on some russian tanks.
I don't remember being able to take off the DShK, only the DP28
I don't remember being able to take off the DShK, only the DP28
.50 cal m2s can be removed from halftracks. Just found out.
Mg squad needed fire support. Threw in a .50 cal mg. A shoulder-fired .50 cal mg.
That is fucking awesome. Sorry for the lack of DCG fix info gents, I will come through.
Is there any way to lure a driver out of a vehicle to capture it for yourself? The only way I know of now is to kill all the gunners and hope that he will hop into the exposed gunner slot. But what if you can't do it that way? Is there a way to lure him out of the vehicle altogether?
Destroy the turret, it will usually cause the AI to hop out. Hit it with an AT grenade or AP from the side.

I was trying to beat it for five days on easy, but god damn it's fucking impossible!
Who in their right mind tought that it would be a good idea to make the second mission a super-hard stealth mission?! I was trying to beat it for five days on easy, but god damn it's fucking impossible!
I did it in two hours on normal, just takes patience Protip: capture the first BA-10, destroy everything, lure the reinforcement tanks away, shoot their tracks with the AT rifle, shoot the crew as they step out one by one, repair the tank (halftrack has a repair kit), kill everything, mine the road, kill the convoy, bomb the base, take a 75mm schneider, kill everything, end mission destroying bridge is optional and you can stop the convoy that way too kinda [editline]18th February 2011[/editline] Main tactic: lure troops into the forest, have your men sit in a bush with engagement mode on return fire, shoot when they can't miss repeat When you get something with explosive rounds the mission will be a piece of cake
And removed one of the most ridiculous aspects of the game; killing a panther, nashorn and hummel and then stealing a pak-40 with one greyhound.
Fixed
Ridiculous? Maybe. Fucking hilarious? Definitely.
Fixed

[img_thumb]http://i874.photobucket.com/albums/ab310/arrancar47/NoFunAllowed.jpg[/img_thumb]
This is a semi-simulation, so no ridiculous stuff isn't fun.
I still feel fucking proud for having completed Red Tide without cheats. Flying the gigant transport aircraft was a highlight though, flying that monster around and crashing it into things. Oh, and the katyusha boats. Can't forget the katyusha boats. And the french B1 monster that I captured and wrecked an entire army with. And capturing that DAMN howitzer at the DAMN other end of the map and using it to take out their DAMN frontline in one DAMN fell barrage.
I played the first mission of Red Tide and found it worked almost nothing like the first game, and not for the better. Quit and never went back :/
Uh, it works exactly like MoW? Except some of the UI is in AS as well.
This is a semi-simulation, so no ridiculous stuff isn't fun.
What. So yeah, apparently the fact that every man in existence knows how to operate and repair every single piece of military equipment known to man, and they can also teleport to different stations in a vehicle to crew it single handedly makes this game "semi-simulation". Also all tank guns have a max range of about 180 metres, and artillery can barely reach over 230m. Its realistic, yes, but not "semi-simulation". Also a greyhound killing a panther to the side armour like I described is perfectly possible in real life. If you want semi simulation go play Theatre of War.
Uh, it works exactly like MoW? Except some of the UI is in AS as well.
It really didn't. A lot of stuff didn't work as it had done previously, and it just wasn't fun to play. I can't remember why, but it wasn't fun.
