IMO if the Skirmish missions will be as good as they were in the demo, then the original MoW will get blown out of the water by AS. It just feels better for me to know that every mission is a big ass fighting mission, without being forced to use stealth all the time.
I still hope that there will be defensive missions, though. I don't want every level to be 'advance to the second front line then get raped by AT guns and arty in the back of the map'.
I like actual "missions" instead of skirmish, to be honest.

Well I like the missions in the first MoW, too. It's just that there is a lot of stealth or generally bad missions to go through before getting to the awesome missions.
I noticed in Red Tide that I don't mind missions with infantry only / very small unit counts on your side, as long as the stealth is not forced but rather necessary for survival. Forced stealth missions suck ass.

My favorite MoW mission has to be Desert Stronghold. It's two squads of infantry mission, attack mission, and defense mission all in one.

factory defense is my favorite just because it has lots of buildings
I want urban defense missions
If they do put in a two squads of guys stealth mission, it better be like PoW, not penal legion

Was penal legion the one where you gotta defend the hill at the end? Since that one was really easy
not penal legion, penal unit, sorry

Stalingrad, anyone?
Or Berlin.
I'll probably make one or the other for AS when it is released.
That would so be Men of War to do a Stalingrad mission.
Half your men would have a gun, the other half ammo. Hope you like micromanagement!

oh god it'd be penal unit but worse
I like inventory management. Have no idea why, perhaps its my SShock2 senses tingling. Ooh look a free FG42! *picks up*
I can only inventory manage when it's something important (looting a .50 off a dead halftrack, taking dynamite off tanks, etc).
Does vanilla MoW work with DCG?
Yes
I'm going to play a shit ton of MoW tonight, tips for that god damn train level? Who has mines?
The engineers do; iirc they're down by the lower road near the train.
Did you pre-order the game first?
Yes, why?

Also I think you have to get them out of the boxes in the supply depot.
I'm going to try to pass all the secondary objectives, besides the AT mines who should I direct control?
AT gun? One of the snipers? Micro moltovs?
Protips for the T-34
The frontal armor is invincible vs. everything the Germans have, but a lucky Pz.3 shot will take it out from the side.
If you're not direct controlling it, keep it in the back so it doesn't get destroyed.
There are more shells in the crates near where the big blob of guys spawns at the beginning.

Don't bother with the snipers. In the long run, they accomplish very little.
Also, look around for anywhere that might have more boxes of MG ammo. There's that one mounted MG behind sandbags somewhere in the middle of the map. If you can keep tanks off it (which you can, plenty of spots to molotov tanks around where it is), it'll deal with pretty much all the infantry they throw at it. Only problem is it doesn't have too much ammo. If you can steal some ammo from a dead German tank, do so.

The demo will bug if you pre-ordered it on Steam. You can download a non-steam Demo instead though.
bad joke incoming

Okay how the FUCK does sevastapol work? You're given dinky little 45mm against PzIVs. The PzIVs just sit out in the middle of the field behind their horde of germans, at just the perfect distance where you can't penetrate with your turd cannons, can't rush an AT nade out to the PzIV, you can't spray the infantry with your MGs that magically are instantly destroyed/de-manned, and you don't have enough men or powerful enough tanks to flank their entire force. I'm also pretty sure the 76mm field gun they give you is programmed to be "artilleried" during the first bit, because no matter where I put it it always manages to blow up.
What the fuck.

You'd think if they really wanted to defend this city they'd give you at the very least a T-34. Not like there was 85,000 made or anything?
Shoot the tanks in the face with the naval gun.
I deal with most of the tanks by letting them get close to the trenches and then AT nading them. Sending expendable men out into the killing field's craters with AT nades and molotovs is good, too. Just try not to waste them too much.
Have whatever targets the tanks are shooting at go prone, and they will blindly rush the trenches. Then you take them out.
Co-op on that mission is fun because of revive/airstrikes
And stealing Thor on the counterattack

All the T-34's are defending at other fronts. Just because they made a lot of them doesn't mean that there's many left at a sieged city.

Two t-34s come to save you at the end.
then ten PaK 40s simultaneously rape them from the side, but w/e
