Two t-34s come to save you at the end.
then ten PaK 40s simultaneously rape them from the side, but w/e
If you let the enemies flank you with Pak 40's you deserve it
no, they come in from the side of the map conveniently facing their side to the armada of stugs and p4s
Yeah I lost my two t-34's pretty fast when they came at the end. The trenches had been overrun so they got blasted from the sides pretty bad.
Thing is sevastopol was pretty early in the war
And the T34 was not into mass production at the time because the factories were getting moved/bombed
Two days and Assault Squad is released? Fuck! I didn't know it was coming this fast!
For the train level I won :D
The pow level I lost the first time after taking the HQ with one guy it was all
Get alexi out...
But I didn't know where alexi was :C
Just got MoW:AS, I probably should beat the campaign on the original game eh?
Rage quit after getting my ass handed to me on one of the stealth missions D:
How do you play campaign missions as coop? Is it a mod?
You go to multiplayer, choose gamemode as coop, choose map, wait for players
At least that's how I remember it worked
Fuck. I finally pre-ordered Assault Squad, completely forgetting I owned Men of War via Gamersgate and not Steam so instead of having an extra copy I could give to a friend I now just own a second useless copy of the game. And I can't even give somebody my Gamersgate because it has a couple of other games and my Gamespy account tied to it.

You could just give the multiplayer CD key to someone.
Looks like Assault Squad is already on torrent sites, oh well. Only a bit more than a day till release.

Yeah, if you're prone to rage quitting then MoW proably isnt the best game for you.
My multiplayer ignore list is huge, I put rage quitters, pricks and people with terrible PCs/connections on there so when I host we usually get really good games.
is assault squad mp based or does it focus on singleplayer?
is assault squad mp based or does it focus on singleplayer?
MP based, definitely. It has 15 skirmish missions and a tutorial, but that's not much looking at MoW or especially Red Tide.
[editline]23rd February 2011[/editline]
There's less than ten new MP maps, and no new frontline stuff. A handful of new units.
Well, I'm staying on MoW.
AS can go hide somewhere.
BUT THE EDITOR PROFAN.
THAT SEXY SEXY EDITOR!
/c
The editor is improved? Ooh, how?
The editor is improved? Ooh, how?
I haven't noticed anything different, but I only use the most superficial features anyway.
Only three or four hours left til it unlocks. :>
Midnight? Steam has a tendency to unlock things at 8am or so their time (Something like 6pm in the UK)
When Gabe personally gets into the office and pushes the button.
Well the store page has it as being unlocked at 7 PM EST but it wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't accurate.
Aww, I was hoping to play it tonight.
It's out now, apparently.
How do I access the Assault squad editor? I can't seem to find it.
Oh you're right. It's downloading for me.

Try right-clicking on the game and see if it has "Launch Editor"
It's in your steamapps folder. They have not linked it yet to the library.
Yep it's out. Even the INTRODUCTION mission for the US took me more than an hour on normal...it's tough. Really tough.
Never before in Men of War have we really had to deal with realistic counter-attacks- and it makes ALL the difference. If you thought attacking the fixed lines of the vanilla campaign was hard, try attacking those fixed lines with periodic huge counterattacks by swarms of infantry and tanks.
PS- How do you all feel about the tracers? I like them personally, although they can be a bit much during big firefights. But it is nice to be able to see SMG bullets more clearly while firing. Plus you get a better feel of being suppressed when under MG fire.
The Japanese armored car absolutely RAPES infantry. It has a hull MG, two side MGs, and a turret MG.
Going to wait until it comes to Hong Kong. Probably 2-3 months or so from now, if I'm lucky.
