Just got Men of War. Definitely a steep learning curve. Hopefully I can start winning some MP battles soon though.
If you want to play MP you probably should have gotten Assault Squad.
Also updated the tourny bracket, [EPIC] beat Transalpine 100-56 so we'll be fighting them in the next round.

Somehow the icon got mixed up with the Call Of Cthulhu icon.
We lost the semi-finals to [EPIC], 2 - 0 in best of 3, we came really close in the 2nd map but got trounced in the first. They got to choose the maps which really fucked us over in by eliminating all our good maps. They're the best MoW players I've ever come across really, and I'm pretty damn good. They're better than Instinct :v:
Ah well, was a good few games, bit ragey for my teammate towards the end but I enjoyed most of it. No money for me :saddowns:

Also the EPIC guys are cunts, they seemed nice at first but they were just being dicks to us throughout the whole game.

Combat was incredibly useless and really destroyed what made the game good. The real challenge is Assault Zones, really.
Oh and for people who think skirmish is awesome and they're just like campaign missions; it's not. It's a set of points across a map, where the amount of forces getting sent to defend increases as you capture more. This often leads to hundreds of infantrymen and dozens of tanks running at you at all times. You often have much, much fewer forces. It's all down to taste if you like it or not, but in my own opinion it's just a feeble attempt at adding filler content to the game.
The multiplayer is great. That's why I played men of war (well, some missions there were great ), and that's why I play AS. I think i have a win/loss ratio of about 30 or something.
If someone is up for a 3v3 or 2v2 against me and a friend, go ahead and message me. I'd like to get a youtube vid of our "special" strategy.
They need skirmish that is more like Total War skirmishes. Select the map, time of day, weather, forces, units per force, etc.
Shit would be so cash it would pay for itself.

You need to make sure you have unloaded the mission in F3 to move map cutting entities around, when a saved mission is loaded, the map cutting entities can't be moved.

The documentation seems to say that using the "reset to default loadout" option does what you want it to, but I can't say if it works. You can refuel tanks inside the DCG unit selector for a points fee. I'll see what's what in DCG 2.5 when I can.

I have noticed that shooting all the ammo from the vehicle will make it have full ammo on the next battle. Possibly due to not having any inventory items at all, so it will be "like when bought"

I have a captured 155mm GPF, which I'm not sure whose equipment it is but it appeared near the enemy spawn. It doesn't automatically refill although I suspect it's US stuff, probably because it's not on my buy list
