Red Orchestra = Soviet tanks win always Men Of War = You have no fucking clue which faction is op but sure it is enemy all the time.
Anyone in Europe wanna do some skirmish or multiplayer? Someone who doesn't suck major balls (not saying you have to be awesome)? I'm tired of playing Assault Zones with teams were two of my teammates just stand getting a horde of infantry in spawn to later move out and get slaughtered.
If you mean Men Of War, then sure, sometimes.
in the editor is there a way to put water in with out placing the water entities that looks like shit?
I just can't get into this. I love CoH, and thought it might be similar, but the micromanaging of each soldiers' inventory really puts me off

Singleplayer yeah you have to, at least in the desperate defence missions.
The most "inventory micromanagement" I do in MP is taking dynamite from a tank. And I've given ammo to tanks using the resupply trucks... twice.
Oh there is a Men of War thread, dunno how I missed it, I will just copy paste my last post in the World of Tanks thread :v:
Spent about an hour doing the introduction level of Men of War: Assault Squad after reading up on how to play and holy shit this game is awesome. As a Company of Heroes player it actually feels pretty cool seeing machineguns tear up people in the open instead of just pinning them to the ground comically. It is also a lot of fun direct controlling tanks. I kinda wish there was a way to play against the AI in open skirmish maps, but it seems like there are a lot of missions pre-packed into the game so that will keep me occupied for awhile.

I don't think anyone manages soldier's inventories in multiplayer except in some rare occasions.
Chec out the Bonus Missions, Master of Barbeque is so damn funny. [editline]6th July 2011[/editline] There's a couple, including one of mine No Helmet Loss Alright, its a bit of a cheat, but I'm sick of having to tell my guys to pick up their helmets when they get shot off.
This works with MP, correct? You shouldn't have to do any (regarding inventory that is. Combat is certainly micro intensive.)
Not as bad as the first few games where, the squad you got at the start, was the only squad you got.
That actually sounds pretty cool. You're talking about the games prior to MoW? Can't quite remember the names of them, but IIRC they all ended with "of war"?
Should do as long as the other player(s) use it too.
Soldiers Heroes of World War II and Faces of War. Should do as long as the other player(s) use it too.
Ah. Speaking of that, we should set up an FP game.
DCG is sick as fuckThese 8 mad bastards held a company-sized force of gerries, and after going through their supplied ammunition and the little they could scavenge from fallen enemies, they made a counter attack and BEASTED THE FUCK out of the gerries. 2 of them were lost in the fighting; RIP Thomas Baker and Elmer Knight. Lost a game of assault zones with a score of 100-99.

I killed a T34/85 with one shot to the front with a tetrarch. That was amazing. Wasn't even APCR. :v:
I killed a T34/85 with one shot to the front with a tetrarch. That was amazing. Wasn't even APCR. :v:
dis makes sense no?
Anyone else have trouble with firing artillery, and artillery units in general being unresponsive? I am trying to play multiplayer with a friend by being an artillery support but it's not really working.
I killed a T34/85 with one shot to the front with a tetrarch. That was amazing. Wasn't even APCR. :v:
You hit the vision slit.
It should be said that we were playing with no heavies.
Then you use M5 guns and hellcats.
You hit the vision slit.
He hit either the massive drivers hatch or hull MG. Neither have any armor at all.
Then you use M5 guns and hellcats.
Gee okay let me just order a Hellcat as the Russians.

The summer bonus skirmish is like that, and even though it's insanely short I had a lot more fun playing it than any of the other skirmishes in AS.
He hit either the massive drivers hatch or hull MG. Neither have any armor at all. Maybe that's why you guys are having such bad luck with the T-34s? I might just get lucky and never have mine get hit there.

You just happen to hit it. I'd say like, 1/4 to 1/5 of the T-34's front consists of weakspots, and on two occasions I've had a shell pass straight through the hull MG at a range that would have otherwise not penetrated on two occasions and I've had the driver's hatch penetrated so many times.
fuck yo conventional tanks, SS-D master race

Also, I am starting to have some problems with the T-34s myself. One Panzer IV destroyed two T-34/85s of mine last game. It was mostly because I was stupid (he was in a hull down position) but still his shots seemed to penetrate with much more ease than I expected they would (or think they should have)
Just got this today for free. It's so much fun, albeit pretty hard. I love how you can control individual units. Also I don't get why people dislike the graphics in this - it has got some pretty nice visuals. I have a question though, is there something I'm doing wrong when I'm throwing grenades - most of the time the guys just run out in front of a tank in attempt to throw it.
