Wish I knew how to work the editor very well.
Guys, would anyone be interested in a team based MoW tournament? I was thinking 3vs3 or 4vs4 victory flag or battlezones.
I'd love that, but the people here just aren't that amazingly active for that. Unless I made a steam group, then it could work out.
Can someone answer my question, google doesn't help.
While I'm not very sure, you might try and put it in the mod folder. I don't know, I'm an utter noob when it comes to editing game content. Team based MOW Tournament would be great!
Anyone with the MoW:AS beta mind telling me how far it's progressed so far? Is it worth paying a bit to get in as a beta tester (Ie, can you play games, make comments, and feel that they are being seen by the devs?)
Men of War is great with the Brothers of War 1.5 mod.

The editor is quite easy to use (compared to other editors of course), but is a bit of a pain to use. Certain things are many times more complex than they need to be.
Can you help me with my problem good sir?
Make sure the mission file isn't read only or something silly like that.
How do I change that? This little right side tool bar isn't very usefull or easy to understand other than placing things. I just learned how to rotate.

Can anyone help me with getting a mod that actually works to use invincible units or have access to a 1.17.5 trainer? I really want to mess around with levels again in order to use them for tactical use later.
Windows explorer
No, it's not that then. Here's the problem. I am using steam for MOW and when I edit a mission with the editor (that is also on steam) I save the map and then try to open it in the game yet it's not the same one I edited it's the default one. How do I get it to play my edited map for the mission? Has red tide got this map editor?
Has red tide got this map editor?
No idea, probably not [editline]05:16PM[/editline] Since it doesn't have mp i doubt it has the editor. [editline]05:49PM[/editline] more minor progress
Ok, basic idea for a tournament then. Team based 3vs3, played on a 4vs4 map on Victory flag. The reason it would be a 4vs4 map is because the game would actually be hosted by one of the tournament hosters, due to lag etc issues it would be someone with a record of flawless hosting, and I have someone in mind already. This person wouldn't take part in the battle in anyway, not buying and units and they're not allowed to even speak to the team they're placed on. They'd probably have to keep the game minimised infact. Game rules would be: Unit size: 140 No Artillery Realistic Fog of War With payback Flamethrowers and mines are banned. Japan would not be included. I'm wondering what to do about the picking of nations. Everyone knows that MoW is not balanced. I've had 4 ideas - 1. Let every team pick their own nation. 2. Let every team pick their own nation, but at the start of each match have something(similar to coin toss etc) to decide which team gets to use their picked faction, the other team gets a random faction) 3. Both factions are picked randomly. 4. The factions are always either: USA vs Ger, Ger vs Ger, Rus vs Ger. With US/Rus vs Ger, the problem arises into how you pick who plays as who. The matches would be a 1 off, not a series of rounds like counterstrike where you can swap sides after a certain time. If I started this tournament I'd probably advertise it on the DMS forums aswell. Critisisms, suggestions, other comments?
I like the sound of that, so sod it I'm making a steam group.

So I got Red Tide, and the AI is fucking terrible. How is it possible for it to have gone DOWN in quality in an expansion pack? I order guys to go to one place, and they run the opposite way. I tell them to shoot people and they just throw grenades. I tell them to attack a tank and every member of the squad throws the only molotov they have.

Flamers are off because in my opinion and that of most people I play with, flamers are way over powered. Maybe a limit to 1 per team per match or something. Mines are useless in competetive VF, they usually last about 10 minutes so thats not really long enough to utilise them, so theres no point. Basically, I want this to be a competition similar to the pro FPS/RTS, not a WW2 battle simulation.

Also if theres no flamers theres no russian assault infantry? Cause they come with two of them. also japs why? i wanna play just seems little off
Good point with russian assault infantry, I forgot about that... But honestly who buys them as russian when you have Marines. Japs simply because they can't stand up to the other teams, and if its anything other than every team can choose whatever army they please, if someone pulls japs then they're at a huge disadvantage.
