Oh god, when gametrailers comes up with this shit, I genuinely think that they're taking the piss. I mean, MW3 is more innovative than minecraft, at least they didn't steal their ideas off other companies and the community.

The Dead Island CG trailer for best trailer? wtf it was well-made and touching, sure. but connoted something completely opposite of what the game turned out to be.

It was an awesome looking trailer and I guess that's what they rated it based on.

Have to say, the only thing I go onto gametrailers for besides trailers, is screwattack stuff. They recently did their top 10 best multiplayer PC game list and top 10 games of 2011, and both were incredibly well done.

I know this is a little bit off-topic, but why are people getting mad over Skyrim winning awards? It definitely deserved most of them, and it didn't even get too many awards. I know some of the questlines were pretty short, but, that's the only BIG problem.

I was amazed Dark Souls was nominated for GoTY. I fucking loved the game and I am glad it won RPG of the year at least. But the list was pretty shit aside from that.

Frozen synapse should be nominated most inovative.

Hey guys want to hear a joke..In their 2010 game of the year awards, they didn't nominate this for the "trailer of the year" award. [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4FRWYRqaGFE[/media] ....What the fuck ? Not only does it look pretty, but atleast 75% of the things in the trailer actually happen in the actual game (other than few things what got cut and few things what were added just for the narrative).

Yeah, a Deus Ex trailer (not that specific one) won their user top 10 gametrailers of all time, yet isn't nominated in the 2010 awards, shows something doesn't it.

This is why I don´t trust that much on game reviwer´s and theyr awards, I played MW3 on PS3 and I must say that this is just the same game every year, no innovation, and when some CoD fanboys come near me I just say abou some innovations and DLC´s I simply say: "don´t come with those bullshits of the kill confirmed, they just got that idea from other shooters, including some Japanese F2P games...", btw Bulletstorm was more fun than MW3 and didn´t got nominated.
