Years ago me and my dad used to play it, but he quicksaved as he was falling in one of those dreams between acts so we gave up. I picked them both up from steam in the sale a few weeks ago and it was amazing - my favourite moment was the fight in the hotel bar where the guy's getting a blowjob, I dived through the bar doors and shot her in the tits.

Now play through MP2. The combined story is beautiful, I have not experienced a more emotionally moving plot in any other game to date. The ending of MP2 is incredible, a perfect ending that left me on the verge of crying - moreso than MP1
Once you've finished both, GET THE KUNG-FU MODS - the mod for MP1 is better than the MP2 one last time I looked, may have been updated but I dunno. Also try the Hall of Mirrors mod for MP2 - it's a Equilibrium mod, and if you liked the gun-kata action in that, but want more, get the Mission Impossible mod. But firstly, stick with the kung-fu mods, they are awesome and hilarious
I played max payne 2, but I didn't like it as much as the first. Maybe I just need to get used to it, but it didn't seem to be as solid as the first game.

Just looked up the Kung Fu mod on Youtube. Looks insanely fun. Man I feel like playing it again now.

I beat MP2 about 5 times on multiple occasions. 4 of which were for the original xbox the 5th for the PC (non-steam version) I do get why max asks why [sp]mona is still alive[/sp] though, now.

Motion comic as in a mix of comic style panels and presentation while rendering in the actual engine. How the fuck is that a reason to start hating on the game? Its the exact same technique as before just enhanced.
