The reason LoL is a "better" game than HoN is because of the much much larger playerbase. However you can't argue that S2 is a much better developer than Riot. We never have days of server downtime when there is an update. They stick to their promises. They haven't turned the word soon into a meme, and quite frankly their a little less trolly and more friendly. Finally, with their move to free to play it wouldn't surprise me if some of the more intelligent members of the LoL community shifted to HoN and stayed there. LoL is really a mindless game in comparison to HoN.

If the double rabadon weren't just for shits'n'giggles then you should try something like going for some more spellvamp, rylai for a global slow on your ultimate especially, or even a zhonyas hourglass for more survivability :)

It doesn't make the game "better" but it makes it bigger, and therefor more competetetive, also LoL is easier to follow compared to HoN if you haven't ever played any of the games, simply because of the graphics when you see commentators play. It's like SC2, it's easy to understand if you don't have any idea about the game, afaik 50-75% of the people who watches sc2 has NO idea of what actually is going on, and that's the people seeing some race win over another big, or something like that and therefor spams that the race/unit/whatever is OP.
LoL attracts people, and is easier to understand, which is why it's bigger in the competetive places, because more people can follow it without ACTUALLY knowing what's happening.

LoL is bigger in the competetive scenes, by the facts i posted above your post. And it's obviously true since they have tons of more tournaments, they're a lot bigger than the HoN ones, and the prizes are also good, compared to the HoN ones.
I'm not trying to say your game is bad, or anything like that, but i know you from the HoN thread, and your not really smart, or friendly as i remember.
hero health/mana bars above the hero looks nothing like a minion's.

Buying a spot for Dreamhack was the PERFECT choice they could ever do, the amount of newcomers that came there was INSANE, and it was one of the most watched games on Dreamhack, it doesn't matter if they bought a spot, they did it, and now they're big.
LoL is more fun when you get a semi-good team/play co-op VS AI and carry like crazy.
HoN for me is a challenge. I WILL UNDERSTAND YOU DAMN IT.

Never played HoN, actually. I just really like Fiddle. He's so obnoxious.
Once I hit 12/0 it doesn't really matter WHAT I get. None of them were building MR or cc resists, so I just went with as much AP as I could. Didn't want to get an AA, wouldn't have had enough time to proc it to a respectable level. That blasting rod was going to eventually be a Rylai's, but game ended before I had time to finish it.
I do get Zhonyas now, especially when they have a karthus. In another game I got a quad kill at their nexus with zhonyas and it won us the game, which was glorious.

Wow..I just carried the fuck out of that last game.
6/1/19 singed. Everyone else on my team had 10+ deaths and were feeding like crazy from the start. I destroyed all 3 of the first turrets by myself and then we just kept losing team fights because no one on our team knew how to work together.
Still won though.
