Leona laning is like Jarvan except easier to set up CC. Zenith then stun instead of flag then spear which you can dodge if you see it coming.

You seem to like dot tanks so amumu would be good for you. I'd be happy to jungle against you till you get used to it later this week (taking a break because lately i've been able to do nothing but feed)
Kong Mao is pretty strong but has no escapes. However he probably does more single target damage than any other ranged dps. Build him like you would teemo, or go AP. Just not AD it doesn't work as well for him.

Personally I'd say Maokai would be a bit stronger, since your ult stays for a long time and has great damage reduction, while Leona is just waiting for tons of cooldowns.
