how do you build soraka?
i got mr boots
i rushed rabadons bcus i got lots of gold from early kills with my team
and then the health staff slow enemies if i had to hit em
i healed like no tomorrow, like 1/3 of my teammates hp per heal or something
still lost the game, and my team told me to play support not ap, i never even got close enough to use my q usually :>
so I was at spawn, and then a wild trynd appeared and killed me AT SPAWN.
I hate them
Now that I think about it...does Tryn's ult protect you from the fountain tower?

I usually get Mejai on Soraka (the only champ I get Mejai on).
Assists = loads a stacks
I get Kindlegem, some nice cooldown reduction and I can get Soul Shroud or if I am focused, Spirit Visage.
Shurelia's pretty good choice, some auras won't hurt.
You are not supposed to deal highest damage, but be the thing your teammates want around.
Rylai - what for ? Silence has too long CD and Starfall is too short of a range.
Deathcap = possibly good ,but late game more so.
I like to get Rod of Ages, helps with pretty much everything (despite E you can still go OOM pretty fast).
It's usually only straight-forward AP item (xcept for Mejai) until I get enough support stuff.
Of course if teamfights are not going so well I get rid of Mejai and pick something approriate.

Yorick can tank the spawn turret with his ghost if you make it detect it first.
