But she does have a godlike late game like kog if you have a team that can keep the enemies away from you.

The thing is she isn't truly that godlike unless the other team lets her chase them.
She has good potential to be godlike but it is sort of easy to counter.
She's still strong though, but not auto godtier anymore.

Commiting to the fight puts you in range of not their own AD carry, but their support as well.
Effectively 2v1 for the split second you decide to over commit since your support isn't necessarily stuck on you like a benign tumor.

You should know that there are champions that are only viable in normals rather than ranked
and champs that are only viable in low ELO rather than high, Vayne is one of those.

I meant in a 1v1 situation in mid.
Longer range doesn't necessarily mean that much, since that will probably allow an earlier start to autoattacks, but no more, since you don't exactly get 1 more autoattack for range.
And I'm talking complete control where they stand 1v1 in each other's face.
For example, if they right click each other from 1000 range, and Ashe starts attacking first with frost and volley, Vayne basically can tumble that 100 range to get in range to deal damage, and then will outdamage Ashe if none of them move.
I only talk theoretical. It's why I graph shit.
In fact, I can make a graph for both of their DPS level 3 with Doran's Blade.
