How is Rampage's ult any bit like Skarner's. He bum rushes across the entire map ignoring everything, smacks a hero, then drags them back. Skarner's is an active that probably does way more damage and doesn't make him autopilot to a unit across the map.
Just because they both move heroes doesn't mean its they are alike hur dur.
Rampage's ult is double the duration, right?

Errrr... No. The skill your talking about on rampage is actually two seperate skills. He doesn't ignore everything, he still has to follow pathing to reach the hero. It's essentially Rammus' Q, then Skarner's R but an actually useful version of it. I, like most, thought I'd actually be able to do something useful with Skarner's ultimate utility wise. I can already pick another character if I want to do lots of damage by pressing R, and stay much safer. Skarner is just gonna ult and get stunned for much longer than the pull even lasts.

Here is how Rampage's ultimate works. For comparison sake:

Sorry, I haven't used Rampage, but I've played with him/against him. Thought it was one skill.
And, Skarner's ult completely suppresses the target. That means it stops Nunu from ulting, Annie from bursting, and an AD carry from autoattacking. The movement you do to it may be lackluster, but that does not mean its useless.
I thought Skarner's ultimate was gonna be at least 3 seconds.

I meant useless in the sense of it's utility that people were looking forward to. Nobody is looking to suppress or nuke anybody by pressing R. There's 325982038509 other champions to do that with. I wanted to fucking drag a bitch from their tower into my team.

I dunno about you but having a giant scorpion come out of the brush, stick you with its tail, then drag you back into the brush and beat the shit out've you seems pretty interesting to me.

You forgot about Karma, Soraka, LeBlanc, and some others I can't think of. There's lots of AP Junglers.
