Stacking deathcaps is not that bad. Most per-slot AP item in the game unless you're karthus with a million mana and an AA staff build.

You're wasting 1k gold to make more than 1 deathcap.
Stacking rods is better (and then changing them to deathcaps).

Holy fuck! 3 wins in a row with Nasus and and carried the hell outta my team each one.
Last game we had Lux DC from levels 1-10, and I kind of wanted to surrender.
But then, nope, I got an assload of kills every fight since I had 251 AD and tons of siphon strike damage as well as tons of tankyness. Hell, I wasn't even farmed too much (170 CS in 33 minute game).
Nuke down everyone while being unkillable.
I like.

I finally won a ranked game after a week and a half and it was a total steamroll. Laned with Soraka as Wukong and got so farmed. Udyr pro ganked, I got an early double. It was awesome.
