HoN will take the bigger hit but none of them will be 'destroyed'. The hardcore MOBA players will go to DOTA 2, taking a lot from HoN but since its F2P as well, it will endure. LoL won't be effected hardly at all, because its popularity has reached people who haven't even heard of DOTA.
The DOTA players who declared HoN and LoL as heresy will split. Some will say DOTA 2 is the messiah and others will deem it heresy too and stick to their WC3 map. DOTA 2 will probably be great because Valve is great, but I don't think it will have nearly the impact some of these drama queens keep talking about.

Every 17.5 ap you buy gives you 50 health and 1 bonus ad. I wasn't able to get far enough into the game as enemy surrendered, but I imagine it could snowball dangerously well.

That's why I'm looking into HoN/dota2, I want something more balanced and competitive, but I strongly dislike the idea of 1v5 carry.

No carry in HoN can 1v5 unless the team is disorganized and fed them really hard.
And I do wish that LoL's ranked mode was more competitive. People go in there first-timing champs like it's a custom game.

Even the image you posted says 2 days ago. Even then, if you go to the Riot channel on Youtube, it says their last uploaded video was on August 12th, which is the video you say released 10 minutes ago.

I dunno about you but I feel accomplished as hell when I carry a game in LoL with a bunch of idiots. Makes me feel pro.
But then if we lose because of my team's incompetence I tend to rage, since its out of my control. So its a double edged sword.
