Archangels will give you so much fucking AP. His W scales with 0.6 AP, a respectable ratio, and his E is a total of more than 1.5 AP. I can theorycraft this for you, but this is so fucking dumb it's not even worth my time. With AA staff and a rod and tons of mana you'll easily have over 250 AP. His W hits insanely hard with AP and mana (mana 0.5, AP 0.6) and you'll be hitting for over 700 damage.
Ryze's attack speed is also insanely low. If you've seen my graph on AS vs. AD, you'll know getting pure AS or pure AD grants you the lowest DPS possible.
230 AD doesn't mean shit, because after mitigation you'll barely deal 120 damage per autoattack.

Playing 1400 Elo and it is RARELY PICKED.
This is ranked, you can counter pick and counter summoner spell, but exhaust rarely picked. Usually it's just 1-2 exhausts in the [B]game[/B]. I am the one always having exhaust.
