The DotA shops are simple. You want a weapon you go up to the weapon store. You want armor you go up to the armor store. In LoL there are all these different categories and sub categories and I have to go to 2 or 3 different categories to find the item I'm looking for.

once you get a few main champions and begin to work out what items you do and do not need to buy, you end up buying the same stuff in the same way and the shop becomes easy to use.
