I dunno, by LoL for me feels like a game I bought. Probably all the skins I bought.
Yeah but skins dont make you win, they just make people think your pro with your champ/show your pro with the champ
I dunno, by LoL for me feels like a game I bought. Probably all the skins I bought.
That. But it was worth it imo.
I've been trying to buy RP on EU west/nordic for 3 days now, but I just keep getting an error. Anyone else got this or knows why? (I wanna spend money god damn it!) And might be late about this, but what's up with the tribunal and how long has it been down?
I've never played a dota-like before, how do I avoid hatred from online teammates?
Yeah but skins dont make you win, they just make people think your pro with your champ/show your pro with the champ
Or just enjoy they hero more. Demonblade sounds cool and Ravager Nocturne has color scheme I enjoy more. Uuhhh, page king.....YouTube !
I've never played a dota-like before, how do I avoid hatred from online teammates?
Don't try to get into internet fights. If you notice you are getting killed too much or a teammate is getting killed too much don't overreact and start calling names, instead give a subtle suggestion or change approach ( You die too much in lane --> farm some neutral creeps if there is no jungler/jungler is allright with it). Try to learn what heroes do what, so you don't look like you do not care for the team for picking a champion that does the same damage as other 3. Mind you, this game soloely depends on people and less on matchup so don't worry about balancing "power" too much. Jokes, puns and humbleness give better results than curses, caps lock and bitterness.
Ok cool, thanks, also who are the best type of champions to play as a beginner?
There is a couple under category "recommended", but it's not really valiable source of information. http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/League_of_Legends_Wiki --> This is good though. It contains a lot of data on all champions, not guides per say, but detailed ability informations, trivia, quotes, etc. I personally started with a guy that looked coolest (i.e. Morde, but had to farm for him so I played Karthus , he was on free week then) and now I can play majority of the champions I like. Do not enforce some hero onto thyself, there is no point in playing one that you don't enjoy or one you perform badly with (unless you want to train with that perticular hero). I'd say try every champion at least once, going from "The coolest" to "A, what the hell, maybe it's not so bad" ones. You have to buy champions with in-game currency to have them always avalible, so just play whatever free week gives for now. [editline]21st August 2011[/editline] Also, don't spend any of the IP (ingame currency) for runes until you reach level 20. Tier 1 & Tier 2 runes are likely worth their cost, but it's Tier 3 you will get most benefit from, especially if you intend playing after reaching level 20.
That. But it was worth it imo.
Yup, I'm not regretting it. 2.5+ hours according to Xfire and still not bored with it. Panth is really entertaining. Aegis of Zeonia is just so damn satisfying. Its like a giant "fuck you" to whoever you are targeting.

I usually get non-aggresive response which results in tiny discussion that helps to resolve the situation. Other times it's just a person that already gave up and wants to speed up surrender :v:

that would be really really cool if Twitch had a skin that made him look like Rigby from regular show
I've never played with anyone who acted like a jerk, even when I die a lot. Am I lucky or will I only run into people like that when I get to a higher level or in ranked?
Yup, I'm not regretting it. 2.5+ hours according to Xfire and still not bored with it. [editline]22nd August 2011[/editline] Don't flame, don't feed, don't but wrong items, don't do stupid shit like running in 1v5.
How do you work out which items are right and which are wrong?
I usually just say care (name of the lane). e.g. care bot, they're all mia.
That goes without saying, like calling mia's in the first place and pinging potential gank target. But if game consist only of " "ss" "mia" "gj" "b" "fuck" Then a little problem arises. Without any sort of social interaction team's morale is soloely based on performance, which is influenced by luck, which is a bitch. If you don't want your team to rely on a bitch to do well so tell some jokes, make match feel more like "Hanging out with friends time" rather than "OMG ELO ELO, K/D, K/D, YOU NOOBS!" time. Sudden boost of morale can turn next teamfights into sudden comeback or give second wind after losing baron. Also, if you actually talk (i.e. not curse/call/ask only) with enemies they will enjoy they game more and overall make it great experience for entirety of players involved. I for one had a nice chat with enemy Tryndamere the other day about recent changes. It didn't interrupt gameplay, our Tryndamere used some of the info to empower his ganking, everyone had some laughs and in the end both teams called GG, not just "red".
Just played with a guy named Vriska Serket and we talked Homestuck for a bit
Kayle attack speed w/ constant E spam is pretty buttrape Why didnt I do this before
mix mix swirl mix
ss is stupid drop that
How do you work out which items are right and which are wrong?
Steep ground. For some people, it's only Theorycrafting (math, math, some meth, more math and internet cockfights). For others it's experience (AD KARTHUS GOOOO!) Some rely entirely on guides (Leaguecraft --> Champion --> Guides --> List by ranking --> I PLAY GUD!) Honestly, League of Legends has much more simpler item department that most MOBA games. Take your time and learn some/majority/all (in that order) of them, so you can decide whether they fit the champion (learning certain champion beforehand goes without saying). Don't be afraid to experiment and check out some of the Theorycrafting, just do it correctly, i.e. don't try something out for the first time in normal game, as custom games and Coop vs AI are much safer (for your teammates) testing grounds. Guides are double-edged sword, they give you knowledge but narrow your vision. If you can read a guide and treat it as what it is, i.e. guide not a "Bible of <insert champion name", then go ahead and check them out for tips or kinky stuff (Google following : "Leaguecraft" ; "Solomid" ; "Mobafire" ; those 3 seem most popular among guide sites). Just remember, field experience > guides, especially since people make guides, and people are also know for putting firecracks in toilets. If you are testing champion out for the first time you can follow recommended items (in-game, store menu), just remember that people might notice that and it's like being noticed on a bike with training wheels. Nothing to be ashamed of, but a lot to laugh at. If you feel comfortable with champion coming up with new ideas is the best way to make sure he does not go "stale" in terms of feel. I for one can play Kaiser in a lot of different ways, not just the godlike "AP/tanky" one. Part of builds I came up with myself, some are from guides, some are from here even. Lastly, there is nothing more wrong than "hard" build. And by "hard" I mean the one you memorize/write down and follow to a letter no matter the circumstances. Yes, there are some champions that can just go with the same formula over and over and win, but the higher the ELO, the less likely it'll work. Remember this : Enemies also buy items and if you know the champion they are using AND see the items they are going for, well, make a quick equasion and here's all the intel you need besides vision (i.e. wards). Some might say that buying armor/magic resistance on a carry is stupid. Some might've mistaken PvP button with Co-op vs. AI. [editline]21st August 2011[/editline]
ss is stupid drop that
I'd rather we dropped "re". I've wasted more Ultimates than I'd like because of my habit to actually report enemy status.
