Saving up my meager amount of IP. Any recommendations for a first purchase/unlock?
I usually don't say champions are OP, but I seriously think Annie is OP with her current state. They need to lower her base damage because once she hits lvl6, Flash + Ignite + Full Combo will kill practically anyone.

Well Ashe was my very first champion, quite cheap and not that bad of a champion.
Or you could get Annie, since she's currently way too strong right now.

If youre looking for champions for each role i would recommend:
Caster: Annie - Cheap, Easy, and Powerful as hell
Range Carry: Ashe - Cheap and good cc. Cait/Vayne - [del]More[/del] HELLA expensive but more powerful
Tank - Cho'Gath - Good dmg and still tanks well. Singed - Good tanking and annoying to be against
Support - Zilean - Useful ultimate & strong damage early. Soraka - Cheap, Extremely good heals.
Melee - Yi - Cheap and easy to learn. Garen / Xin - Strong, tanky and still not too hard to play.
Is Ashe still like the best ranged carry in the game (dan get out with your cait you dont count >:|)
i find cait to be a lot better than ashe tbh

Theyre all different but her CC makes her one of the most useful to have in a team.

I feel like the only champion I can win with in ranked is Lux.
No one expects you to do insane damage but you can do an easy 400-500 AOE damage off the bat without going anywhere close to the fight. Late game it's about 700-1000 AOE to non MR stacking targets.

Well LoL sucks so it doesn't really work properly, but properly a carry is a hero that sucks in the early game, and can literally carry the team pretty much 1v5 in the late game.
no reliable cc (except one that launches her backwards and slows?? wow nice thanks lmao), shitty ult that is bad against teams who know what they're doing, traps are decent i guess not that great
the only good things about caitlyn is her range and her q harrass early on
she's only good early game and is horrible in teamfights
late game she is BAD and she is supposed to be a carry rofl

Yeah that's what most people think, so I can get away with not getting focused. Mmrnhrm usually plays Maokai, so double snare is extremely deadly.

Which is why in LoL there's not really carries, because carries suck in the early game in DOTA really.
