basically every game all i'm doing late game is soloing their nexus and retreating for 5 sec to stealth when they recall

Then when you try to kill BD Teemo he just fucks you over with Blind, exhaust, shrooms and him having 500+ move speed.
I'm enjoying Garen again. Infinity Edge is really all you need on him and then you can go tanky items. It gives so much damage for just one item on him.

So just a question, as far as DOTA clones go, I'm thinking about getting back into it(played DOTA a lot back in the day when I played wc3) and I'm wondering how this compares to Heroes of Newerth, and the upcoming Valve DOTA. Also what are the communities like?? The DOTA communities on wc3 were some of the worst shitheads ever and I want to avoid their idiocy.

That is too much bullshit imo. Ghostblade isn't enough damage or crit and the active is not all that useful on Garen since he isn't auto attack based. I've never needed the speed either. Frozen Mallet is silly because, again, he isn't auto attack based. Atma's would come later, God willing the game went on long enough.
I used to go Ghostblade on Garen because I thought the CDR was cool but, looking back, it was a retarded idea.
Garen is pretty strong right now, at least based on what I've seen.

All the champs are 3k, with some 6k exceptions, and you get like ~110 IP for each match, shouldn't take long to farm up for a champ.

They want to remove "Hurr durr, I stand in back and heal/stun/ult" aspect.
Now he has to risk it a bit to be effective, just like everyone else.
